My kids enjoy a treasure hunt around the house and see me working on some of these armchair hunts. So for fun I spent 15 minutes and made up a hunt for my 10 and 12 year old. It worked out okay, though I had to give some nudges as they don't know all the tricks and tools and I could probably have written these lines a bit better. A small nod to efanton for his Just for Kicks puzzles. Anyways thought I'd share something that is truly beginner level and just for fun. To a degree I am the name on the secret door in New Orleans Square. Numbered and united, we spend our minutes together down low. Twain spent seconds of his life trying to write of this stranger. I stand on top of the compass rose. O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. The wait is only a few minutes for a steak on magic way. The sweetest of birthdays for any princess. The author's memoirs about his boyhood, riverboats, and western adventures.
So where am I?

Nice to see others put together puzzles and hunts. Well done Matthew.
Personally I think its something every hunt participant should do at least once. It gives you an insight into the amount of time, thought and research every hunt, no matter whether they be simple or hard, takes. If you are now able to think like the person setting the puzzle, 'how would I set this clue' or 'why word it in this particular way' or what technique is being used, it also helps when you are participating in other hunts or puzzles.
It's a dying pastime unfortunately, shooting space pixels, or living a life through social media seems to be the only world people open their minds to today. Hunts and puzzles do not need prizes for them to be enjoyable, so I would encourage everyone to give it a try. I actually find that its often the short or simpler (that doesn't mean easy) puzzles or hunts are the most enjoyable.
Will have to sit down and spend a some time on this puzzle during the week.
