Does anyone remember Forrest answering a question about "are there any signs at the treasure location", or something like that?

My interpretation of the poem informed me about signs(physical and mental imo) and led me to the location.

My interpretation of the poem informed me about signs(physical and mental imo) and led me to the location. I'm talking about physical signs, with meanings to the hunt, at the location. I seem to remember someone asking Forrest if he left any, and him answering "no." But I don't recall exactly what the question was. How it was phrased.

My solve has a sign - the one for Phantom Creek Trail (the end is ever drawing nigh) ENGRAVED SIGN.

My solve has a sign - the one for Phantom Creek Trail (the end is ever drawing nigh) ENGRAVED SIGN. I'm thinking more like symbolic signs, related to the clues and hints in the book(s). But I won't say that yours isn't important. But if Forrest really said that there were no signs, then that's it. But I don't recall for sure. That's why I'm asking.

Goldwatch, I understand. I think ‘signs’ in that case then, would be more akin to a keyword. To me - the ‘engraved sign’ - was what i took from nigh = meaning ‘near ‘and the end = grave and drawing = engraving. ENGRAVED SIGN. ENDED. GRAVE = engraved. (Near is within = nigh. As for a sign within the poem. I don’t think so.
I would also discount the TTOTC book for deep research because it only adds to confusion.
Forrest always said - the book will only help with A METHOD OF solving clues. NOT hidden clues.. one example is obviously spoonerism: FLUTTERBY. = MARVEL GAZE. A x
