Hi all. Something I have not read about in discussion is the use of reduced syllable counts in Line 2 and 3 in Stanza 1 (23 = 'W') and Line 3 in Stanza 4.
What surprised me the most was when the Rainbow related geometry I followed on the Colorado map finally led me to 'Adelaide' along 'Phantom Canyon Road' I discovered the road number it was on was 67 would that not make you believe this location was correct? It did to me as I had not realized it before I got there. It had to be confirmation and not bias as some would say.
These numbers 6 and 7 also relate to Indigo and Violet, the only two colors of the rainbow not mentioned in Forrest's book, you can look but they are not there.
"Not far but too far to walk" has only 7 syllables and I believe it confirms the Rainbow colors, and the use of the rainbow.
I bring this up because several searchers believe my rainbow theory as a system to be wrong, however these kind of discoveries only serve to confirm it for me. These are not chance happenings.
The 'X' is missing from the poem and X is 10 in roman numerals on the clock. Indigo and Violet are missing from the stories, these two colors begin with I and V, and 'IV' together are 4 in roman numerals on the clock. They oppose each other. This is a puzzle that most missed. 'Important Literature' mentioned 'Time Magazine' the clue was not particularly TIME but what TIME is displayed on, namely the clock face, and again it is circular and divided into 12 parts just like the Zodiac is. There is a confirmer to this within 'Important Literature' and it involves J.D. Salinger. Forrest makes out he had never heard of him and yet hereafter he relates to him very personally as 'JD' and even referring to him as a friend by the end, very strange isn't it? Not really when you realize that 'J' is 10 and 'D' is 4 and complies with the missing X and IV.
So what do we do with it, for on its own it does not give us anything? The scrapbook called 'Rainy Night Blessings' could provide the answer, it comes at the end with Forrest's thoughts, and one is "Don't underestimate the power of a quarter". I believe it relates to quartering the clock face now. To do this we would use 1 and 7. 1 = 'A' and 7 = 'G' now AG is SILVER in the periodic table.
So what if Forrest's intention was to give 'SILVER' as a surname, but the initials are wrong?
This is where we need to go to the Zodiac wheel for the answer, for where 10 is on the clock it becomes 12 on the Zodiac and 12 is 'L' in the alphabet. 'D' is 4 on the clock but 6 on the Zodiac and 4 + 6 = 10 which is 'J' in the alphabet. Put together we now have the initials and the surname of a well known Pirate 'LONG JOHN SILVER' these numbers form an 'X' on the clock.
'X' marks the spot on Pirate maps. SILVER would be in the middle (buried)
This would relate to Forrest's dream of Captain Kidd. Forrest read of pirate treasures and he said he would have made a good one. What if this was how it was done.
