What if the puzzle was designed to work upon the map of Colorado and it led you to a Circle which Forrest intended you to imagine as a Zodiac Wheel, and another puzzle awaited you within it? Furthermore if within working out that puzzle it revealed 'EARHART' where would you go?

Hi heidini, I spelt your name right this time. So you would not consider where she was going to have her cabin as a getaway, beside Wood River near Kirwin? That is the place I would go straight to IMO.

Hi goldilocks, I cannot open the above but if it is about where she planned to have her cabin built then yes, I would go there too. Her cabin remnants are still visible and you can have them pinned on Google Map of Wyoming. 42 degrees from the Northwest goes straight to it and if projected beyond it picks out the 'W' of the state. 66 degrees from the Southwest corner goes straight to it also 66 = 'ff' it becomes an 'X' on the map. The angle from the vertical is 24 degrees = Omega, the end of the rainbow being 'W' IMO this is where the chest was hidden/buried. I believe it is about a mile walk from the trailhead to get there. Meaning Forrest would have walked four miles in total, I guess that was possible don't you?

IMO of course
