Congrats to Elyse from Cali and her partner Brian for successfully finding "The Golden CD". More details to come, as I will let Elyse share her story. I was very happy to see that not only did she find the CD but she nailed some tough clues as well.
I am not going to announce the location of The Golden CD just yet. I received a bunch of emails recently with some encouraging words in which hunters were thanking me for the hunt and saying things like "your hunt is the only thing keeping me and my family sane right now with our quarantine situation". I also had a handful of people just join in the hunt within the past week or so, and had multiple requests like "Even if someone solves this and wins the prize, can you keep the location a secret so I can still try to solve it for fun"...
That being said, I am working on something to keep it going further for those that still want to have fun and play. I am working on 2 series of videos. One will have the complete breakdown of every single clue, and how the map was supposed to be laid out (with all confirmation clues and all solves). Before releasing that, I am going to release the first series which will be only "hints". I am going to gradually show how to solve things, and provide hints for those still playing. I am thinking/working on a way to make it virtual for those who do not want to travel without having the $2k prize. I may put up a small prize for the 2nd place winner, and I still want everyone else to have fun with this before releasing the official breakdown of the clues.
