I have put forth on here my five years workings on the poem puzzle and how I believe it was done. Rainbow was the key to its beginning. The 40 degree 'COLD' angle of BLUE found WWWH on the Colorado map and the 42 degree angle of RED confirms the place in Wyoming which is why the chest weighs 42 lbs, this number was not coincidence by Forrest.
I have been involved in book treasure hunts since 1979. Most if not all treasure hunts contain a system or method by which to solve them and you have to find it, Forrest provided it for all to see, there was only one WWWH and it was his system that found it believe me.
I wish you all well in trying to ascertain how it was worked out on the Wyoming map because IMO it wasn't. The Zodiac puzzle based on a circle in Colorado revealed a name that would take you to the site. I believe that name was Amelia Earhart.
Just like so many of you I hope we get to see the method he used to get to the solution one day.

I too think that lines (and/or circles) could have been used. I believe in order to have "found" the blaze, you needed to establish (the meaning of found) it's physical location first by connecting the clues. The clues definately can be in states other than WY, the chest may have been there, but heck the clues could be anywhere in the world (or even in the sky/heavens prior to being located on the ground).

I agree that the clues could be in the heavens. I also agree that the beginning is a rainbow.

I agree that the clues could be in the heavens. I also agree that the beginning is a rainbow. Hi heidini, thanks for your comments. Once you have found 'No place for the meek' which is the clue that leads to 'Adelaide' and its circle you discover in the geometry the small constellation shape known as 'Triangulum' discovered by Ptolemy a Greco Roman astronomer and astrologer, you can also find that he named all of the Zodiac signs we have today. This small geometry triangle off of the map perfectly overlays the photo of 'Triangulum' in the heavens, and I mean precisely. This gave me firm belief to use the circle at Adelaide as the Zodiac wheel. I don't know if you have looked at the 'ghosted' human heads in the bottom left corner of 'OUAW' cover, if not enlarge it up and play around with light and shadow. There is a Greek looking head of a man which appears to merge into a long haired man above him, I believe these are symbolic of Ptolemy and Isaac Newton the two learned men whose works and discoveries lend their discoveries to the puzzle. Notice their initials spell PIN. This shouts out to me because in order to draw to 'Adelaide' on the Colorado map I had to PIN it, and it was this pin that made it so accurate to draw to to reveal 'Triangulum' Therefore when I discovered EARHART in the Zodiac puzzle and thought of Wyoming where she intended having her cabin built, I discovered it had to be pinned to reveal it. This is when I used the angle of 42 degrees which should be the angle to reveal the chest being of the same number, its pinhead was in precisely 42 degrees from the Northwest corner of Wyoming, and using the Southwest corner of the map 24 degrees finds it accurately from the vertical, and 66 degrees is left which has to be 'ff'. I can add no more than that. The only reason I believe in this so avidly is that 40 degrees was used to find WWWH as Colorado Springs and the first point of the Prism which eventually led to 'Adelaide' All of this can be checked out, geometry is a problem solver and gives precision. Forrest did say if followed precisely. I urge you to investigate this for yourself it is very interesting heidini. It sounds complex and I guess it is but it is a method or a system that Forrest made work.

I don’t see your reasoning in the words of the poem.

I don’t see your reasoning in the words of the poem. If you can expand on that a little heidini I will try to address it. Do you mean in my interpretation of words in the poem?
