Saw the "solve", clues 1 and 2 made no sense. I get the math fine, and the "Low Gap Shelter" makes some sense, but was expecting something sequential, not three unrelated points, two of which have no visible ties to the clues. Anyone understand this? I think many things would fit clues 1 and 2 better than those.

Anyone understand this? Six Questions with Adam W. on Mr. Clue’s Peach State Armchair Treasure Hunt1Q) Congrats on finding Mr. Clue’s Peach State Treasure, and taking time to share some of your found treasure story with us all! Had you worked on the hunt by yourself, or had you partnered up with friends, or worked with family?I worked on it by myself but definitely had help 2Q) Can you walk us through the process of how you discovered the solution and found the treasure? How would you rate the difficulty of the hunt?I was on the wrong track before clue 3 came out. I was looking for boat slips, boat rentals, maybe a boat place had a giant canoe on their sign. I was going nowhere until I checked the forum and some searchers posted their ideas. One mentioned Brasstown bald and it was perfect. I know rabbit holes can hurt you but after looking up that place and seeing the marker image on Wikipedia, I was 100% sure Brasstown bald was what clue #1 refers too. It literally talked about a great canoe and had the Cherokee phrase for fresh/new green. Honestly don’t think I would have gotten it by myself. There are smarter searchers out there that got me started. Once clue #1 was figured out the rest became easy to figure out the locations. Be sure not to slip gave me the “falls” for #2 and quickly looking on Google maps I saw the chatahoochee river which I learned was nicknamed the hooch by locals so hooch-moonshine. I was convinced #2 was horsetrough falls. I noticed the quote from “evan” in the about me section but hadn’t taken too much time on it until #3 came out. Which I was quick to realize referred to the low gap shelter. But couldn’t figure how Evan figured in. I went through his Wikipedia page, everything he did and in the see also section I could see torricelli-fermat point, a triangle center. There are 3 clues. Brasstown was the highest point, he called the falls a corner and from low gap go to the smallest degree. This was clearly a triangle and Evan solved the fermat point in real life. It wasn’t hard to find that point. On paint I pasted the map. I made equilateral triangles on all sides and drew a line to the opposite. I then made the 8hr drive got to the falls first which was pretty close to the point and was looking for about 30min in that area before I saw it simply lying on the ground. I legit almost had a heart attack, I was definitely hyper ventilating. The drive back to Florida didn’t seem so long. 3Q) What do you think was the most difficult part of the Peach State Treasure Hunt? Was there a point where you thought you wouldn’t solve it or find the treasure?
The most difficult part is the start which like I said I never actually got on my own. The drive up there I had moments of doubt that someone figured it out too so I was a little worried. I feel like if we knew where “warm waters halt” was we could have that treasure in no time. So finding the start is probably the most difficult part of any hunt 4Q) What was the prize you received for the Peach State Treasure Hunt? And did you take up the hunt for just the ‘treasure’ or also for the puzzling fun?
The prize was 5 crusader gold coins some Roman coins and some other long gone empires coin. I love treasure hunts so it’s mostly for fun but I am kinda hurting for money. So I’m planning to sell some of the coins, but keeping the Roman coins as they aren’t worth much in value. 5Q) Can you share what you enjoyed most about the search? What might you have liked least?
What I enjoyed most was that feeling of actually 100% knowing where it’s going to be. What I liked least was that long drive where the entire time I doubted myself I would actually get it. I had to take a day off work which is not ideal right now. 6Q) Are you working on Mr. Clue’s new Catan treasure hunt, or any others? Do you have any advice for those taking up the hobby of armchair treasure hunting?Yes I’m working on the Catan hunt but have made literally no progress. Advice to or treasure hunters. 1. read message boards because other people are sometimes smarter and give it away. 2. Wikipedia and Google maps are essential.
