Hello all. I am in Washington as well, but eastern side. Closer to Idaho/Montana than most places in my state.
I agree these chapters have left me scratching my head. I guess I am focused on chapter one as it mentions PCH, which is my side of the country. But that is probably misplaced trust in the author. Ha! Happy to work with others or pair up to bounce ideas off each other.
Happy hunting!

I'm in Cleveland, which has already been eliminated as a location, and Cincinnati too.
I have read the book a bunch, trying to focus on breaking one of the codes. I'm thinking that there is a clue to one of the locations being in NY State, but have not broken any codes yet.
I suspect that we will need the promised clues to figure it out.

Is there proof of this AGK interview without having to watch hours of youtube videos? I thought the author said no clues except on the public forums of this page or his social media account? Maybe I read that wrong?!

Maybe I read that wrong?! I'd like to know too. you didn't read or hear him wrong. all info is to be shared on his own site for all to see. hope the hunt is not another scam or leaked private clues every which place to make the ending controversial. what a lie if he's giving out private info to some and not to others especially when he claimed he was so against it.

I recall the author saying that he will post on several social media sites, including the facebook site for The Great US Treasure Hunt, Twitter, and Instagram. And he stated that HE WILL POST THE SAME INFORMATION TO ALL OF THOSE SITES. So far that has not happened. I'm not happy with that, as I only look at the facebook site. Right now, I am giving the author the benefit of doubt because I am sure this has been a very busy weekend for him with the kickoff of the book. But I do hope that he will have things organized soon, and clarify some of the things that we have been hearing from DIFFERENT places.

The AGK YouTube interview is not private. It's on YouTube... public. If you don't want to watch hours of videos, read interviews, check out social media by one of the creators, that's on you. AGK has actually started to index their videos so if you go to www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtzcIkPDycg and look in the description, you can find the time when he answers certain questions, including eliminating Cincinnati and Cleveland.

My comment was based on the initial comment of private/public. All of these comments that have eliminated California/Yellowstone/Cleveland/Cincinnati have all been in public mediums, aka YouTube. These are not private emails to hunters, aka like FF, and his comments are out for the public to find. On the discussion of posting all info to the hunt's website, the book does not have a www address to go to. It does have Facebook, twitter, instagram, YouTube. None of those sites can I find the text of posting the same info to all sites, so I not seen anything officially stated that "HE WILL POST THE SAME INFORMATION TO ALL OF THOSE SITES" as claimed above. Maybe you heard this on a public interview, but it does appear per the official rules. If you can find this statement, post it here. As of now this does not appear to conflict any rule, and to me has not lied.

FWIW, I don't eliminating a location matters all that much. He could give you the city and it still can't be found without decoding the exact location and object.
