Website gone. I think we can discount the 'Pel is going to post the real solution there" theory. I have just received answers to a 'Six Questions' and will be posting them in the morning.... The Solution was already given.... and is the 'real one'..... |

That's new, when I posted the website was down, it was a general COMING SOON Notice at the top left is a B*. That asterisk means to read the fine print. But there is no fine print. That means the fine print is coming later. Please don't believe this is the final solution. This is the B, or second solution. The third REAL solution will come when we solve the B*, the 2nd "solution". That will lead us to the C*, the third letter of the alphabet, solution, which is the real solution suggested by the chest in the pictures. Don't think any of that was put there by coincidence. |

The update to FollowTheFox is clearly a super-generic template on some generic hosting service. There is no hidden meaning to anything. They probably had no idea how to update the old site. I am sure they felt compelled to get the real solution up there as conspiracy theories were popping up because that site hadn't been updated.
Let it go, the solution was simple and no one figured it out.
To all the haters...put up your $10000 and a lot of effort and you can make your treasure hunt however you like.

I was just joking, I figured I'd nail the conspiracy angle before anybody else did.
The solution was simple, but the execution was sloppy. At least one person figured it out, and still didn't know they'd figured it out.

After many years, I finally made the pilgrimage to Acadia and MDI.
It wasn't easy to find Fandango's Spot even knowing the precise GPS location. I'm glad I didn't go looking when the hunt was active!
I was pleased to find some orange ribbon marking Fandango's Spot and a small treasure/trinket cache under a rock at the spot. Thanks to whoever left those for future finders!
