I love this hunt so far. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible. And some really cool surprises once you figure them out. If anyone picks this up and wants to chat about it, let me know. I think I have 8 of the ten cards cracked as of now.

I have also finished 8 of the 10 riddles, i assume you are stuck with the riddles 4 and 9 ?

I’ve been working on 4 heavily trying out different triangulations to try to land on a South American city. I have some guesses on what cities it might be, but I haven’t had any luck landing on any of them. I’d love to collaborate.

Question: In order to find the location of the real golden egg, do you have to actually play the game, or just solve the 10 postcards? Thanks!

go go go find the egg! share with you clues are on my desk e8 e4 thanks. I’ve seen this before but couldn’t make sense of the fit for puzzle 4 with the directions on the map relating to the riddle for #4. How did they get to those angles and distances?

Just solve the cards. But who knows, there might be some clues elsewhere not on the obvious ten. Like in the wood shop there are some mysterious symbols

I think I have 8 of the ten cards cracked as of now. I just ordered it. I looked for information (other forums etc) and could not find anything. Do you actually have to travel to location BOTG or is it contact them and let them know? Is that the one on the main website? I could not even sign up for it with my email.

Yes you would have to go botg to find the treasure. But it says in one way or another if you got that far you’d travel with confidence. The forum I speak of you will get access to after you receive your game. It comes with a code to use.

I picked this game up. Not to be dim, but how does one get really started on this hunt. The instructions are pretty thin and I guess I'm not that intuitive.. Any nudge would be most appreciated. From what I can tell, I've gotten the cryptic lines 0-9 from the website and assume I am matching them against the postmarked postcards (ten in all) in some way. Game playing is not required then???
If the QR codes are important, I can't get them to work...

If the QR codes are important, I can't get them to work... the QR code’s need to be used together, at the same time, to have them work. A copy machine helped me out on that one. Playing the game does not seem to be important also. Try to solve each card Individually and it should yield a city.
