Where warm waters halt - Sleeping Giant, Yellowstone Home of Brown - Put in (turn right) at Camp Buffalo Bill just past Pahaska No place for the meek is reference to a mouse. We'll get to this shortly The end is drawing nigh, turn left and follow the road to Elephant Head Lodge Heavy Loads and Water High - Elephant Trunks lift heavy loads and shoot water high.
Sleeping Giant Mountain looks like an elephant (more like a cat) but same difference where a mouse is involved Where you turn in to Camp Buffalo Bill is below an elephant foot, no place for a mouse. Just north of Elephant Head Lodge is Elephant Head Rock, a place Forrest likely climbed. If you've gone there, look down and find the end of the elephant trunk near the road.
I'm done.
