Thanks for a fun hunt, FHH! One question that I was curious about, and I thought about posting the question here in the forum, was about the legibility of the ciphertext. Seeing the solution here, I see that I had 8 of the letters wrong. I had Is for some of the Js, a B for one of the Rs, a U instead of a C, etc. I kept trying variations, because I knew I wasn't sure of some of the letters. Did I somehow have a lower resolution image or something?
Would it have been appropriate to ask here what the exact letters of the ciphertext are? Again, thanks for the hunt, it was fun to play around with I just stumbled a bit on getting the exact cipher text.

I could have spelled it all out for you.
I found that the PDF with all the hunts was hard to read, but later, Jenny posted single-page PDFs of each hunt, and the single page PDF of mine seemed much clearer. Did you see that she added these, or were you working off the original 'book' that has all the hunts?
Again, I'm sorry you weren't able to read the cipher. I will try to do better on future hunts!

It's really no worry at all. I still enjoyed playing, as little as I did. I actually hadn't seen the thread with individual pages separated. Still though, the Js in JDDX, VZAJ, and JTUJ still look a lot like I characters. Again, no worries at all. I should have asked here, but didn't so it's on me for not asking for some clarification. I've been so busy with non-puzzle things, I still wouldn't have solved it. It was obviously legible enough for someone to figure out, so I think the people who were meant to win did win. Again, sorry, and I will try to make things clearer in the future, and if they are not, please do ask for clarification!

Can't recall how much time I invested in the Vigenere cipher, and all that time the keyword was right in front of my face! Congrats to Gabby and Rabbit Stew, well done!!!
