The "n" in learn is technically the lower half of the "R" in joker... I took the N from the ND over her head, not the bottom part of the R. I don't know if that matters.

First, I think I used the words "major pieces" and "mini puzzles" interchangably. So I apologize for that. I will try to clairfy it. There are what I have been calling seven mini puzzles, which are major parts necessary to solve the main puzzle.
There was a discussion earlier on what those seven pieces (mini puzzles) might be. Some were positively identified. So it might be helpful to look back at that list.
You have to solve those seven pieces BEFORE you can solve the main puzzle. So giving explanations and reasons for things won't help. Everyone that has been sending in solutions has been going into much more detail than is needed for this stage of the game. If you don't solve the seven pieces correctly, you can NOT solve the main puzzle. There is no guess work. There is a very specific method involved to solve the main puzzle. You WILL KNOW that you have the answer to the main puzzle when you progress to that stage.
The word, "LEARN" is a correct solution to one of those seven puzzle pieces. But it is probably the least helpful.
I said that I will confirm 2-3 correct submissions of the mini puzzles if you post your submissions here on this MW thread. I will confirm two more.
No one has gotten the number pyramid correct in your posts.
Don't be discouraged. I think people are way over complicating things. (But then again, I know the answers, so things look differently from my view point. LOL.)

I already had LEARN but assumed it was a mini attached to a bigger puzzle piece, so thats good to know it's its own separate thing. So, I'm assuming all of the puzzles around the border/edges will help solve the main picture in the middle.

Here is my guess for six of the seven puzzles:
Calendars Missions Left Cards (LEARN) Right Cards Number Pyramid Postcards ? (I'm at a loss for the 7th - if I'm sticking to outside the border)
As for the Border letters - The Border letters have multiple parts, so I think this is a part of the main puzzle (I think organization). Also, when a couple of people mentioned different sections of the border, she said that was not a "mini puzzle"

Personally I think the border letters are a mini puzzle. I think we all know the letters anagram to widdershins and opposite. But that's just a step in the mini puzzle, not the final solution of it.

I thought so too at first, but on pg 7 of the thread, she responded to bunkbink & singtune4u alluding that the border isn't a "mini" - I think it's part of the main puzzle, telling us how to read it. I haven't quite deduced the riddle part of it yet - leaning toward cypher, bc the anagrams for that part don't make sense yet (maybe they will once I see all the other pieces together?)

That's not how I interpret what she said. She said "Opposite and Widdershins" aren't a mini puzzle, which they're not. They're just components to the solve. She didn't say the border letters aren't a mini puzzle.
But I can see her comment as taken either way.

I have received a lot of well-thought out, interesting submissions. I am learning a lot from the submissions, not only about historical events, but about my own puzzle design. I know eventually someone will figure out my puzzle. But I don't want people to get frustrated by wasting a lot of time going down unnecessary rabbit holes. I have decided to try something, and I hope this will help those of you who are trying to puzzle things out... As discussed, there are what we have been calling "mini puzzles". To me, they seem rather easy, but I know from your end, they are a different beast! What I propose, is that if you POST a solution to one of the mini puzzles here on this thread, if it is correct, I will let you know. I may only confirm two or three. I just want everyone to see the solutions, and maybe get an idea of what they have in common. These are much more easy than people are making them out to be. I will let everyone know when I feel that I have confirmed enough correct mini puzzle submissions to give people an idea of what you need. You may want to go back through the posts and see what has been discussed. One mini puzzle can be deduced after the others are solved and the common thread is found. Another mini puzzle is different from the rest and will not help with the common thread. So choose wisely. (*Also, I am not home all day, and don't have my phone with me at all times, so I can't follow this thread 24/7. Keep that in mind when awaiting a reply.) Mini puzzle solve for the postcard: Mercedario elevation: 22,014 King Yatze elevation: 21,312

Pugdaisy920, You DO have one of the mini puzzles. Half of it is correct. Half is incorrect. When I wrote the rules to my puzzle, I wrote that you might have to google several sources. This mini puzzle was the reason for that comment. The final puzzle will clarify the answer, or you can look for a source that begins with the letter B to find the correct half. ____________________________ susb8383 The answer to the NUMBER pyramid is not DEY. But the NUMBER pyramid is indeed one of the mini puzzles. ____________________________ skdaizy and susb8383 The border letters are not a mini puzzle.

whispa,
Sorry, I forgot to address your post.
Is the Calendar mini puzzle piece 2221? The calendars are a mini puzzle, but the answer is not 2221.

I came to the same conclusion last night.
Thanks, especially for the B hint. We thought this particular mini puzzle was probably what prompted your comment about multiple sources.

Mini puzzle solve for the postcard: Mercedario elevation: 22,014 King Yatze elevation: 21,312 Do you mind sharing your source? I have found multiple elevations for both. I have this for Mercedario of Summit Post: 22014 ft / 6710 m, But Mercedario "Group", aka - Cordillera de la Ramada as 21982 ft / 6700 m On a separate list of Worlds Highest Mountains, I got these #s: Cerro Mercedario: 22211 / 6770 m Kang Yatze: 20997 ft / 6400 m
