From the Hunt's FB Page: www.facebook.com/DirigoTreasuresMaine***IMPORTANT 2ND PRINTING ANNOUNCEMENT*** MONDAY, APRIL 12th, 2021 We are pleased to announce that tomorrow, Tuesday, April 13th, at 9am EST, our “Get the Game / Purchase” page on our website will once again be available to place pre-orders on a 2nd printing of Dirigo Treasures Maine®. Please be advised of the following important notes related to this 2nd printing: 1. Our manufacturer has estimated that inventory will be shipped to us in mid-May. Once received, we will then process all orders to customers and ship within 5 business days. Please factor this timing carefully into your decision to purchase. While we feel Dirigo Treasures Maine® is a wonderful Maine 200th celebratory item to own regardless of the treasure hunt, the “Official” May 1st treasure hunt start date will already be a month past when your order is in your hands. Still ample time to win, but bear this timing in mind! 2. There is limited quantity available – 2,000 units of the standard size Poker decks, and 250 units of the Collector’s edition will be sold. This represents our maximum selling capacity at this time. We will consider a 3rd printing at a later date should customer demand support it. 3. There will be NO pricing changes – $19.99 for the standard size Poker decks, and $39.99 for the Collector’s edition version of the game. We would once again like to take a moment to thank all customers who have purchased and enjoyed the Dirigo Treasures Maine® experience thus far and also those who have expressed interest. See you on Tuesday! NOTE: We also can update on outstanding orders from last week’s 1st printing. After a busy and diligent weekend, we are happy to report that one business day ahead-of-schedule we have now provided ALL customer orders to our mailing service to be shipped to customers. We believe all outstanding orders should be to you soon. Thank you for your patience as we have worked through the high sales volume. — Curt Andrews, Senior Designer

This is a BOTG- all in Maine hunt....
They had ran out of 'decks' and ordered new. A few are still available if interested: (They don't plan to order more)
From the website:
Q: What is the latest on shipping for Regular decks from the 2nd printing orders?
A: No change from our May 5th update. Regular decks are scheduled to arrive no later than May 24th from our Card manufacturer, and once received we will move to process them as soon as possible and get them to our mailing service. As we ordered 2,000 of the regular decks with the 2nd printing, most have been sold but there are still a few left in case you still wanted to get a Regular size deck. As with Collectors Edition, we do not expect to sell more after this 2nd printing.

I don’t completely understand this hunt. A player must identify and travel to each of the seven places in Maine to find each of the seven carefully scattered stones. They must combine the information from the seven stones to progress in the hunt. What happens if any player remove any of the seven stones? Does this keep the remaining players from then being able to get a complete information set? I did not see this addressed in the frequently asked questions

Does this keep the remaining players from then being able to get a complete information set? I did not see this addressed in the frequently asked questions Hi astree - I bought this hunt which comes in a large envelope. There are 4 steps in the envelope. Step 1 is a deck of cards with pictures of places in Maine and you have to identify all of the places. Level 2 is going to each of these places and gathering either a letter or a number from a sign or a plaque, or counting steps etc. (they have specifically asked people not to call places like historical societies or museums to get the information). Level 3 is applying these letters to a coded chart which spells out a series of words (no spoilers here, but if anyone wants to know what they are, PM me). Level 4 is a huge 25x27 grid cipher that also uses the cards.
Apparently after solving this grid (I have not solved it yet, but some have) I believe it leads you to an online site where there are clues to the 7 "Dirigo Stones." It appears there are additional online steps, but I don't know how many. I don't know what these stones are, but they are scattered around the state, so after going to 50 places to get the letters and numbers, you have to go to 7 more! I asked the hunt-makers about the possibility of these stones going missing and they told me they were not movable.
There are vague hints to where they are in the material that comes with the cards, but they are too vague to pin them down. "One stone docks peaceful near the River", One gazes longingly at the Sea," etc.
The other thing I find interesting isn't a clue at all, but makes me wonder what exactly these stones are. In the Credits and Acknowledgements, it says,
"[We] would like to thank...the hosts of the 7 Dirigo Stones, whom it has been a pleasure to compensate for their assistance with this product." If these are real stones that are too big to move, who are these hosts and how did they assist?

Hi thedewailey, thanks much for the additional details... helps clarify this hunt quite a bit for me. Intriguing and sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I could join in, but seems like a good amount of in-state travel involved ( the authors intention, if i recall ), and im in maryland. Hope you have much success with it. ps - now i’m really curious about those 7 stones, too.
