Hello all!
I've recently decided to share some information that I thought could possibly help get people's ideas jogged into a new direction. I recently joined this forum because I want to discuss the possibility of Verse 1's treasure not being in Houston. But rather, in Dallas. Let me explain my reasoning. Please keep in mind I am new to the hunt and not exposed to any underlying bias (besides the Destination Unknown episodes with Josh Gates).
Okay so..
Picture Clues:
1. The Reunion Tower. It was built in 1978. When I took a trip to Dallas this was an ideal landmark for me. My thoughts are the white water tower looking thing in the picture is in fact the Reunion Tower.
2. The star in the top left. Not sure if it was mentioned for the Houston guess, but Texas is the "Lone Star State". Only one star there.
3. The camel. So I need a historian for this one. I rented a hotel from the Reunion Tower and saw a Camel Smoke sign that looked like it has been around there for the longest time. Perspective is key. Need a historian to see this one through.
4. Sand dunes. Represent D for Dallas. (a stretch)
5. The wizard and his tornado. There is a park relatively close by which features a metal tornado like structure, right across from
6. the Railroad Tracks. Old Union Station, which has been sitting there close to the Reunion Tower for a long time.
Now the Verse:
1. Fortress North. "Fort Worth"
2. Cold as Glass. "Dallas"
3. Friendship South. I'm stuck here.
4. Small of Scale. As referenced by the Houston solve, possibly referring to a train station of sorts. Need a historian to show pictures of the Union Station in the late 70's.
What do you guys/gals think? I want to expand on this solve so any Dallas natives or explorers input would be greatly appreciated!
