The book contains 11 riddles- consisting of text and image. Also shown is an owl face and a color 'Wavelength' number. It has been discovered the wavelengths, as well as solving Riddle B, reorder the 10 Riddles that display the numbered wavelengths. There is also the title.

The text translates to:

OPENING

My first, first half of the half of the first age,
Precedes my Second and Third, seeking their way.
My Fourth is inspired, my Fifth is in rage,
But, without protest, follows my Fourth and the roman alpha.
My Sixth is hidden at the limits of ETERNITY.
My Seventh, standing, spits his venom.
To find my all, just to be wise,
Because the truth, in truth, will not be a Devin's affair.

It's thought the eye of the Rooster hints to the answer: Bourges, as it closely pinpoints the location.

The rooster is also believed to point out a couple more things; the lower beak points to Roncevaux (enigma 470) and the top beak points to Cherbourg-en-Cotentin (560 as Carusburc).
