Dan Barbarisi's book: Chasing the Thrill is now out....



Dan does a great job of 'sharing the story'....... and it was quite the adventure......

About a third of the way into the book...agree that it's a fun and easy read. Kindle edition.

So far I've learned that Fenn tried to recruit others to write the book for him, including Douglas Preston. I've always wondered how much assistance--editorial, conceptual, or otherwise--that Fenn had with TTOTC. I think he's a great writer, but help helps.

Hi Jenny,
You asked great questions. Dan's answers seemed a little guarded to me. Just curious, did he have time to compose his responses or did he answer them spontaneously? With many of the interviews he's done I get the feeling he's protecting Jack's interests with his answers, which is understandable considering.

I had sent the Six Q's to Dan back in May.... I was, with either a comment from Jack (or a Six Q More with Jack), going to post something on the 6th....(and with Dan's), but then changed my mind. For no reason, other than time is extremely limited for me.

I told Dan the change of plans, and when he sent his answers, is when I posted them. Whenever that was....
