I just realized something very interesting that Forrest said about "Where warm waters halt. He gave an additional clue that said, "where warm waters halt is not a dam"
If you re-arrange the letters in, is not a dam, it spells Madison T. I think Forrest told us directly that Madison Junction was where warm waters halt. The T is where the Firehole, Gibbon and Madison rivers join.
It is also interesting that the letters from, "Begin it where", re-arranged say Ignite b-where. Ignite beware - could be interpreted as what is said when a mortar, cannon or bomb is lit and "Fire in the Hole" is yelled as a warning.
Other things contained in the words and letters of, Begin it where warm waters halt: West Gate West Arm ewe ate (Sheepeaters) bath or bathe

. I am interested in the exact wording. I temember mention of a flume. tarryscant.com no longer works for me. IS NOT A DAM AT MADISON A MADISON T "Many searchers have thought that warm waters halt at a dam because water being released through flues near the bottom of the dam is much colder than water on the surface of the lake. I have discussed around that subject with several people in the last few days and am concerned that not all searchers are aware of what has been said. So to level the playing field to give everyone an equal chance I will say now that WWWH is not related to any dam." Even with this wording it could say, "Madison at ny (Gniess creek) tree Dal(LOL)" Forrest did say he misspelled things and was pretty flexible.

Hello, fellow hunters. Has anyone else read this, and if so, what is your opinion? books.apple.com/us/book/the-triangle-and-the-cross/id1581866408I found it very intriguing and plausible. The (anonymous) author states that Secret Valley is where the treasure was found. And also that there is indeed a second way to solve the poem, in addition to the solution provided in the book. He also claims a new treasurer, with photos. In any event, it was a great read and is giving me ideas for next summer!
