This won’t help solve the puzzle, but it’s Secret related. Chicago always makes me think of John Hughes so I got to wondering if he knew the writers of The Secret personally? Sure enough, John Hughes and Ted Mann co-wrote some material for National Lampoon! They wrote this one article in October 1980 titled “Sexual Harrassment: How To Do It”, that you can find online….hilarious, but cringy given what’s transpired in the world since. Six degrees of Kevin Bacon stuff I know, but cool to uncover some of these connections.

The world was a much simpler place back then. You could actually dig a hole and not get arrested.

One thing I've noticed common with all 3 solved puzzles is that there's a weird shadowy and unusual pointer to the dig site. Image 5, look at the messed up weathervane pointing at a weird angle. Continue that line to the ground and you see it pointing at that block that seems out of place. That block may represent the electrical fixture that was mounted on the wall. Image 4 has an out of place round ball with a triangle pointing to the right of the planter area. Image 11 has a weird twisted shadowy leg/foot pointing to the side of the home-plate. We can use the same methodology for the other images: Image 1 has a shadow leaf that points to X. Image 2 has a shadowy hanging petal that points to a tattered flag. Image 3 has an awkward looking plumb bob pointing at a wing. Image 6 has an interesting pointed thumb with "24" for nail. 24th letter of alphabet? Image 7 has a spooky wolf staring at the bowl of the spoon that forms a "C"; cask? Image 12 has a refracted shadow of woman's nose that points to a V shaped planter. Other 3 images I'm not ready to discuss yet.

So many possibilities out there. Certainly you could have an arrow or foot pointing you to the right direction. Can’t say you need to figure out every hidden clue , just the ones that get you to the state, the city, the park, the final location, and that’s hard enough already. Too many city clues in the painting just to get you to Chicago. Are those arrows a compass heading? Are the clocks compass headings , from a certain object or are they pointing you to a clue. Anyones guess. I still like the central area of the paintings as a clue to the final dig spot.

I have several solves but need someone like Josh Gates to get permission to dig for one of them.

Choice.. I like the pointer reference you made that might point to the dog location. I'll add to that pic 7 the second hand of the clock actually shows the dig spot when overlay on the park where it is buried.
