Posted beneath the video from David:
This short video explains in a bit more detail how a Solver can solve a puzzle, contact a Finder who might be hundreds of miles away (but lives very close to the location), and together they can team up to win The Great U.S. Treasure Hunt.
In our proposed 2022 version for television, each coin found will be worth $20,000, with the Solver getting 80%, or $16,000, and the Finder getting 20%, or $4,000.
There are potential $5,000 bonuses for the Finder if they meet Johnny on the Spot, or if they record themselves finding the coin and are judged by producers to have the Winning Moment of the Week. (If you don't record yourself finding the coin, there goes a shot at $5,000.)
The Partnership of the Week bonus will be split 50-50 between the Solver and the Finder, as will the Iconic Location of the Week.
The Solution of the Week bonus goes to...you guessed it...the Solver.
Stay tuned for more updates. Thanks!
If you see all of these videos suddenly removed from YouTube, that's probably a good thing, because it likely means that a production company or network has taken over communications, and will produce much better content for potential players. So let's all hope for that.

. Thank you, David and Jenny. This answers a question I had - each puzzle does not specify the state it is for, but the Solver can team up through the mechanism described in this and other video (separate thread) with a Finder, to split the prize.
