The only thing I can theorize is that Hwpdzm are the first letters of the six lines, but other than that, I'm stuck.

You’re right; Hwpdzm is Wordle encoded. Next, use those letters to solve the Wordle…then keep using the Wordle playboard to determine the cipher for the entire alphabet. From that, you’ll be able to get your final answer.

This was a good example of how one can get stuck on a wrong track.
I was thinking of Vigenère and hadn't even considered a simple substitution cipher.
First time I see a keyed atbash though.
