From the Newsletter:
Thank you for participating in The Puzzler Hunt contest! We hope it has been a brain-busting good time.
And again, we are truly sorry for the technical glitch at the start of the Final Round of The Puzzler Hunt.
We now have a winner of the $10,000 contest.
Congratulations to Benji Nguyen. He finished the Final Round first.
He is an Oedipus of the 21st century! He wrote: “I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my indispensable teammates - Alex, Anderson, Bryan, Cameron, Clue, Eggy, Jenna, Patrick, and Sushi - for joining me on the ride.”
Although the contest portion of the Puzzler Hunt is over, don’t worry! The puzzles will live on so that folks can continue to solve them for fun. The website will remain online, and we will be providing solution PDFs as soon as possible. Also, there is a Reddit AMA with Team Puzzler Hunt at 9 pm ET on Monday. And a special note from A.J. Jacobs:
I'm the author of "The Puzzler," but "The Puzzler Hunt" was the result of a team of brilliant and devious minds. I'd like to thank them for constructing such amazing puzzles. So thank you Greg Pliska, Matt Gruskin, Guy Jacobson, Tanis O'Connor, and Max Woghiren. The Sphinx has nothing on you.
I'd also like to thank all the others who made "The Puzzler Hunt" possible:
Joseph Hinson and Joshua Kennedy of Outthink, who created the website and kept it going.
Annika Robbins, who was our fearless researcher and factchecker.
John McLaren, who helped with the technical portion.
Joe Cabrera, who did our illustrations.
And all the great Testsolvers for their enthusiasm and feedback.
Thanks,
Team Puzzler Hunt
