The FROG token was hidden in Brattleboro, Vermont at Retreat Farm in a tree just off the Ice Pond Trail, at a location shown roughly in map grid cell EZ.

The following message was hidden as a simple acrostic in the related TEXT North chapter:

So now that the solution has been posted, can I ask about the pond in the story that the frog fell into? I walked past the tree on two separate trips because I was looking for some water, but there is none on that part of the trail. Was the 'pond' just a metaphor for Ice Pond Trail?

Yes. The tree with the token was on Ice Pond Trail. So the story was hinting at the trail. The ski jump was near the trail too.

The grid, EZ, also took you to the specific point along Ice Pond Trail where the tree and token were located.
