It's interesting there are still clues searchers are missing - which may or may not help in the actual discovery of a casque.
Are they just unusual items in the images, linking to things like the Boston 'Pops' - with the showing of the bubble for 'pops'....or something more?

The Secret is very aggravating. You can work so hard to develop a theory and then what? Are you correct or not? You can't advance on your theories.
And...even if you get one shot, maybe you missed it by inches but everyone counts it as wrong and it never gets checked again.

Well Goldhunter, you just have to be like a treasure hunter i.e. Indiana Jones and dodge a few natives' arrows and spears. Or one could use the same technique as BP and dress like the natives and try to avoid the incomings. Either way to achieve your goal a lot of determination and perhaps a bit of fairy mischief may be in order. As to the long anticipated interview, JJP hinted that image manipulation may be useful. He also said the window in image 11 was USS Constitution portal window. It was a warship not love boat. It doesn't have round portal windows. At least not that I've seen.

Yeah, the USS Constitution explanation threw me! The ship is lined with square openings for the cannons, only round openings at right near the bow and not portal windows. Makes you wonder how much of the images are straight from JJP’s imagination and don’t translate to actual real life objects near dig sites? I thought for sure it was representing the ruptured storage container of the Great Molasses Flood which occurred in the very spot the Boston casque was buried. I did like the image manipulation clue, have a couple ideas on that. Medieval Scarecrow hints of jousting and windmills were interesting as well. The main thing I enjoyed was the messaging, what goes around comes around. If you are good, playful and kind you will be rewarded. Good on George and good on JJP to keep Byron’s message and legacy alive.

Well it’s still a port hole in a general sense of the term. I think the average person would call it that unless one was a nautical expert. A hole is still a hole. My take away from the video is that , Boston was the 1st painting and the largest with the remaining paintings getting progressively smaller in size as the due date approached. BP looked around and took notes when at the dig site. Did he take any pictures? Some puzzle solutions are image heavy, others verse heavy. There is a general template that is used for all . BP was in and out quickly, so keep that in mind. ( didn’t want to be seen). When it comes to his description of the medieval scarecrow, jousting( spin),and windmill comment . Makes one think of the windmill , a softball pitching term

"Makes one think of"...
Whoa there, no, it's nothing to do with softball, so don't go digging holes in any softball field. What JJP was getting at, was jousting where a horseback knight would attempt to hit a target 'spot' on something that I would describe as like a scarecrow where the body (pole) is free to rotate, so if you hit the target on the hand of one 'outstetched arm', then the body would quickly rotate and the other 'outstretched arm' would have a bag or flail attached which would strike the knight on the back or head as he rode past (teaches to expect & block, e.g. with a shield, a strike by an opponent to those body parts as a knight rode past, fast and close). What he seemed to be hinting at, as far as relevance to The Secret goes, is that the painting of the 'Man of Oz' has something in it that has a mirror image aspect to it, i.e. something we see is reversed like a horizontal mirror image shape. There is in fact a shape that is reversed like that - if you look at the lower midrift of the 'Man of Oz', there is a shape there that looks something like a distorted angel's wings. Now look at the Google satellite view of the area south of the Wright Brothers Monument, you can find that same shape, except it is a horizontal mirror image of the shape in the painting.
An extra confirming hint is the 'dent' within that shape, that appears like a dint in the Man of Oz's 'armour' - that darkened 'dint' matches an actual feature present IN the mirror shape south of the monument, which was a hardy small tree or close collection of possibly pear pad growths growing at that (mirror image) location (in the early '80s !).

I was just suggesting “windmill “ ties into softball to appease those who think the casque is in the Lions club baseball field , which I don’t think it is. Then again JJP implying that the bird and the bubble in Boston was for the Boston pops or the girl was a depiction of a Witch. I guess anything is possible . Who would even think of that person in a suit of armour would be a jouster? Maybe JJPs subtle hints are leading us down the garden path to nowhere . Remember he said he can’t comment on the unsolved puzzles.
I believe the casque is in the Waterside Theatre by the Albert Quentin Bell plaque.Makes logical sense to me. The Paul Green monument is by there and could also fit into the line last touched ( he is touching has face) and maybe a potential dig site as well. See my post “Why not another solve “in the Roanoke thread. ( Nobody would see him there digging there, after hours).
You need to post pics of your proposed solution if anyone wants to follow it or comment on it. I would rule out any Federal National Park as a location for a casque.

@byrnietuney, to steal a line from Dicey, 'not buying it!' One question comes to mind: What all this got to do with English Govna? diceycat , that spot was discussed by big guns on Q4T 20 years ago. I'm sure it would be checked out by now if anyone was curious enough. At least that spot has English connection AND image reference. But what's the fun with those locations? I think it's time for some fun again! This was during '82 FIFA world cup (football/soccer) qualifying. World cup '82 logo present in the window (pic below). First/Last... first and last words in the verse are PASS and GOAL. Two maps in white could describe a soccer field. After circle and square would be the goal. The 'man of Oz' looks like a foosball goalie with a block for feet. The same with the 'plumb-bob'. Spinning motion in playing foosball. More English connection: Closed hand holding watch spells LION inside; L's font is identical to Lions Club L with a hook. Watch hands spin. Closed hand grips the goalie's control arm and open hand on the other arm is for hands off/do not touch. Three lions is the symbol of England since King Henry I/12th century. The three lions is also the emblem of the Football (soccer) Association, the sport's governing body in England since 1872. The litany: “Fairies of England 'proudly' bear Garnet, crown-jewel of their Queen...“. "Proudly"... pride of lions. Count the number of paws in the meteors (pic. below)! Man of Oz in the Lions Club sign (pic. below). The sign itself is wing shaped. Look north (up). More detail on Q4T. Then maybe a weathervane. Sequel?

Well someone may or may not have probed that area by the Albert Quentin Bell plaque. Not sure. How can one ignore the exact same wing shape of the individuals belt ( with jewel ), and that seen of the dig location in the Waterside Theatre. It’s like ignoring the fence in Chicago or columns in Cleveland, or the home plate in Boston. Trying to convince other treasure hunters of your theory is like trying to herd cats. Can you explain away why all the bells are in the painting? Pearpad Rd. Etc. Pearpad road is not by Westcott park would you think the road should be close to the park like Liberty drive in Cleveland? I agree 100% that the lions club is involved in the puzzle and ties to the casque. To me the fairy appears to be tied to the lions club making a food delivery. Not directly tied to the jewel location. You might think it’s a soccer ball in her hand but one does not use their hands when playing soccer ( unless she’s a goalie or someone tossing the ball in from the side.) You have the lions club manning the food stands on both sides at the rear of the Waterside theatre. The individuals hands appear to be giving on one and taking on the other.. Has anyone probed your proposed casque location? I think the foosball is an interesting theory . Why the armour? Why did JJP call him a medieval scarecrow? Does the helmet represent anything nearby? Who was Wescott? Like the lion’s mane in Charleston tie into the USS Maine ( maybe something in the park or seen from the dig site” ties into the hair/ helmet). To me ( and I came to the same conclusion without reading any of White Rabbits posts) the casque should be by the Albert Quentin plaque. Probably the biggest downside for me with Westcott park is that it’s not connecting to the water ,unless it did in the past.

Bells could be the 'sounds' around the island. The wing-shaped belt could be a hint to Manteo Airport since it looks like a pilot's wing. We only have the 3 solved puzzles to figure out if there's a 'templet' to follow. The gem in Cleveland painting was on top of the fountain in Italian Garden NOT on Greek Garden planter. Chicago was on the loop NOT in front of the fence. Boston gem was in fairy's hands NOT on the homeplate. There hasn't been a puzzle that the gem marked the dig spot. It doesn't mean that it wouldn't be. The fairy's pose turned sideway IS similar to a goalie diving to save goal. The Tin Man is a plane hence the metallic armor. Planes go from airport to airport hence start at Wright Brother airport and end up at Manteo Airport (MQI)... mica? The airport is at Driftwood Dr. Scarecrow has the same shape as a simple plane AND is an Oz character like the Tinman. The helmet represent the pilot in the cockpit. All airport connection. Westcott just happened to be the name of the park next to the airport. The name has no importance IMO. Layout of the park is on the Tinman's chest armor (mirrored). The thin red S there corresponds with the park Sign. The theme of the puzzle is 1st flight so the main attraction is the airport next to water and the park next to the airport. Bell has nothing to do with 1st flight and Wright brothers, the theme of the puzzle. Like the other puzzles there are city (island) indicators. Lack of major known structures might've forced BP to include pear pad/spoon as city indicator. But in support of Albert Quen-tin Bell, tin bells sound cool!

Looking at the history of the Waterside Theatre and the fact that it has been rebuilt since the casque was buried , some of the visual clues may have changed. To me there are matching, or closely matching clues . Again it’s all up to interpretation by the individual. The slits in the helmet for the eyes, (the shape), could be the view ( the shape), of the water as seen from the Albert Quentin Bell plaque, ( the dig site). Remember BP is standing at the dig site taking photos and notes ( of solid objects that are going to be there for a long long time). Pretty much objects set in concrete. Your following a path to the dig site . Through the dark forest to mica and driftwood. Not a road through a subdivision to a ball park. The path beckons, it’s inviting you. Why use the word “road “ in the first part of the verse then “path “ further on in the verse unless he is trying to differentiate between the two. I try to Keep it Simple. That mica and drift wood could easily be the pedestal structure that supports the brass head of Paul Green or just the shoreline reference, or maybe there was a prop they used in the play involving mica and driftwood. Why the annular ring around the moon in the painting? Is that supposed to represent an annual event, like the annual Lost Colony play? Let’s not forget the tombstone shape of the window. Let’s not forget the dead… annually! Kind of odd to see Brassy coloured armour, when armour is usually made out of iron. Again that could be a tie into the colour of the wood structure stage or the AQB brass plaque. Now JJP called the guy in armour a scarecrow,(a straw man… look up the definition of straw man), not a tin man. So in the Wizard of Oz the scarecrow lacks a brain… think about it. Nobody knows what happened to the lost colony. The crossbow image in the armour is in the shape of the seating stands. The crossbow is cocked and If that crossbow held an arrow it would be pointing directly at the BLACK area , Black is the end of the hunt. The Albert Quentin Bell plaque. Can’t say for certain that it’s buried right by that AQB plaque but it’s in the vicinity, maybe on the other side of that sidewalk closer to the Paul Green monument , unless it’s been destroyed or removed by workers over the years, anyones guess.
Its “Your Goal”. Not a goal, the goal , soccer goal etc.
