The best way to test this hypothesis is to apply it to solved puzzles and then you can accept or reject it. It does work nicely with image 5 and 11. Image 9 was too wide for book's format so the area with JJP's initials was truncated. It is on the right side of the painting north of his elbow. Image 1 has both signature and initials of JJP. His initials are at 5 o'clock position of clock face. quest4treasure.co.uk/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=8216&start=178

Another thought I had was if the JJP initials are placed in a certain corner in the painting to indicate to which corner a line should be drawn across so as to cross over the verse/ image clues. I did an overlay of the timepiece in San Francisco onto 36th Ave. Interesting results but one could apply this just about anywhere.

Poke time! If you look at the vines around the table you'll notice that E and W are on the wrong side of the clock. To correct this you need to mirror the image so G h would look right too. So the JJP initials would actually point to 7 o'clock direction.

You could drag the clock down the street toward JFK drive and then it might point to the washroom door at the 7 O’clock position,( stone walls door). Start point 7 O’clock end point 5 O’clock. That very well could be an E W in the vine Well that certainly gets me thinking more about the clock and table.
Why is there the colour blue around the table top ? Is it for “water table”? Level of the water in Spreckels lake? Is it a time table ? Or a turn table? Or is the blue colour for the Jackie O marriage to the “GREEK” shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis since JFK lies in repose in the painting. The Greek tie into the Greek Cultural gardens.
Aristotle Onassis ( Jackie O’s husband), died in 75. Those could be the two numbers your looking for . Also I like it when you extended a line from the 5 O’clock position and landed on the “X”on the girls robe in the painting.
What I call JO for Jackie Onassis ( the curved rose stem and the round clock), if you flip it then it becomes Ob. Is that for Onassis Bouvier . Bouvier being Jackie O’s maiden name. Why is the one leg of the clock different than the other? 2 different marriages to support her?
What about the black shadow cast by the clock? Is it supposed to be a pointy bow of a ship ( Onassis hint)?Does the gold rim of the table top form the letter “C” for the Onassis Yacht “Christina O” ? Maybe the pointy “black” shape is just for the model boats in Spreckels lake! Time trials ( the clock / stop watch?)/races? or maybe both.
The “E” and “W” by the table could just mean where far east meets US west. The dress has the basic shape of the Chinese Paifang aka the Golden Gate ( Golden Gate park).
