I am surprised that this one seems to be overlooked. It's an annual hunt, which can be solved virtually although there is a real treasure cache buried somewhere in England. The origins of this hunt go back to when it was sponsored by the Logica company social club (which no longer exists), so you might remember it as the annual Logica hunt but it was renamed in honour of the initial setter who has since passed away.

This is a cool technical one that seems to require a bit of coding and basic computer programing knowledge of the day. That minicomputer panel on page 6 is familiar to me since I came across one in late 70s in a computer lab. It was pretty much obsolete then! It was $6500 1970s dollars when it came out in 1970.

Doesn't seem overlooked at all! You shared it....

Results are in: Congratulations the Psychologicals team for being FIRST to find the treasure, and earning 2nd place in this year's Pablo hunt. And Twelevepack has a respectable position on the leadboard, well done! Rankings are still provisional but points are listed at www.pablosath.com/archive/2022/results2022
