From website: monkey.quest/The Quest For The Golden Monkey is a treasure hunt for three small, golden monkey figures — each hidden on public land somewhere in the American Midwest. Beginning in April 2023, clues will be published on the 15th of each month for the next year. Properly deciphered, the twelve clues will reveal the secret locations of the three hidden monkeys. QUEST FOR THE GOLDEN MONKEY Guidelines: $175 REWARD per gamepiece! (subject to increase) REGISTER NOW! The gamepieces are small, ceramic monkey figures—each hidden in a nondescript black container at one of three different locations on public land in the midwestern U.S. Clues will be published on the 15th of each month from April 2023 to March 2024. When solved correctly, the twelve clues will zero in on the precise locations of the gamepieces; the hunt will end when they have all been claimed. Please be a conscientious steward of the outdoors; do no harm to property or nature. Leave all spaces as you found them—or nicer. Seek, don't destroy. Each gamepiece will be hidden with instructions to verify the find and claim the reward. Registration closes on December 31, 2023 at midnight (CST).
