Yes, I think so. The book offers lots of leads..... lots to research and some obvious clues.... Will have to start some threads to discuss here....

That was over quicker than I thought.  I really enjoyed this hunt while it lasted, and found the book really well put together with cipher I hant seen before, in additional to the research required.  We’ll see, I had the location about as far from Perry’s home as could be, while remaining in the four states.

BREAKING NEWS… The Treasure Hunt key was found!
It is confirmed that the key was found and the individuals who solved the Appalachian Treasure Hunt have notified the ministry and are returning the key to finalize signing of papers and receiving the treasure.
HOWEVER, it is NOT TOO LATE to get The Appalachian Treasure Book to read and participate in this once in a lifetime ministry event. This was Perry’s first fictional writing and became historical in that it is the first ever Christian Treasure Hunt. It took two- and one-half years for Perry to write, plan, and piece clues together to create this treasure hunt. This was something Perry had wanted to do for many years. I am so happy I flipped over to MW tonight and read the comments for this puzzle, as I have spent many hours on it so far and am only on chapter 6 on my second read-through. I am so glad I saw this and will not be wasting more hours of my life on this long book. I have lived in Appalachia all of my life and much of what I read was familiar to me. After the disappointment with Fandango, I didn't think I would ever participate in another puzzle, but something about this one encouraged me to participate. Yet, I feel the same disappointment as I did with Fandango, which has nothing to do with winning or losing, but more about investment of time. I congratulate the winners and look forward to seeing your solution.
