I asked Jason for some comments on the hunt to date: medium.com/@sixer13/get-searching-there-is-a-gold-treasure-hidden-in-the-northeast-over-25-000-b191541b5385“It’s really exciting to see how deep some of the hunters are going, from annualizing the temperature sensor data on the trail cams, to mapping public land and cell towers with GIS software, to looking at habitat maps for the wildlife that has passed by. Three aerial photo clues have been released so far, and I don’t think anyone is close to finding the treasure yet. Maybe there will be a dramatic turn of events in the next week, though.”

Also wanted to ask about thoughts on the style of hunt. Their goal was to create a 'better treasure hunt'........ did they do it? What do you think?

I think they created something incredibly exciting, and so very different from any hunt I've seen. It's appears so simple and straightforward that everyone likely feels they can be the finder. Bravo! I hope the find happens without a hitch.

However, there are the live feed images which provide clues - slope, vegetation, weather, etc.....

Rohrer is very much a message guy. Remember, there are always cheats in video games!

. at ProjectSkyDrop.com , the color coded map for newer members show members mostly joining near or in the circled areas, becoming more concentrated as the circle shrinks.
