LOL Nice. But water is plural = waters. I take that the WWW'sH. But I do like your solve. Still meaning halt. Very clever thinking. Maybe this is what is meant by FF saying there are many WWW'sH and start connecting them on the map by drawing the lines. Like connect the dots like a child's puzzle game. Making out the picture of the answer.

Just watched Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates on Sunday night, 3/31/19. I think I have the solve. Driving through Kansas now from Illinois. We shall see very soon.

Well that's exciting...you certainly didn't waste any time! We do know Forrest said keep it simple. Was it obvious to you after reading the poem? Good lucK!

Forrest spent 15 years, on and off, designing his puzzle. It is not simple; it is multi-layered, and different clues require a different skill set to solve. The people who solved the first two clues very early on (some of whom may not have even realized it) had the "right thoughts" to figure out WWWH, or at least guess at it. The third clue though, IMO, is entirely different, requiring lateral thinking distinct from what's needed to get WWWH. The clues aren't like dominoes, where once you solve WWWH it's a cakewalk through the remaining 8 clues. Evidence of this? The first two clues were solved over 5 1/2 years ago, and yet as of a couple years ago Forrest still wasn't sure that even four clues had been solved. Clearly the third and/or the fourth clues are a huge bottleneck.
And this realization is a good gut-check for anyone wondering whether their solution passes the smell test. If your 3rd and 4th clue solutions are the first things that anyone would think of based on solving the first two clues, then clearly your solution is wrong.

If your 3rd and 4th clue solutions are the first things that anyone would think of based on solving the first two clues, then clearly your solution is wrong. Definitely multi layered. I think you can come up with multiple meanings for each clue. Perhaps one layer is purely physical. And then the other one is more on a parable level.

Ditto on that line of thinking. I often think that even if you had 6, 7, or 8, how hard would it be to solve the last clue and find it. i suspect it will be at least 5-10+ years more before it's solved. Folks sharing MIGHT help, but I don't believe that even if everyone shared everything that anyone would get much closer than they are today anytime soon....the chase has kind of hit a rut imho.
