So I have been going Chapter by Chapter trying to see if there is anything that looks like a code and looks familiar. I have been stuck on the Chapter 8 image for a while now. This is just a basic 4 x 7 grid with numbers and letters spread out.
Well I think I might have something! When your take the letters and use each lower it spells out FEET IVY FIGHT. My thought is that when you add all the numbers you get 695 Feet, Fight Ivy. Could this be a direction from one point (Chapter7 or before) to the next point?
Who is still working on this and wants to collaborate?

On first look Eighty Five Feet jumps out at me from the letters, if using the same letter multiple times is allowed.
I’ll be grabbing a copy when I get home on Friday as it all looks to be round my part of the UK so I can investigate some theories (Lytham is half an hour down the road).

I'm still trying to get something from this picture, the numbers have to mean something here, if you add up all the smaller numbers you get 347, and I don't think it's a coincidence that it's one lower than the highest number on the page "348", which itself looks out of place in relation to the rest of the numbers. I tried adding another "I" to bring it up to 348, but I don't think "FIGHT FIVE YETI" is going to be much help to us in solving this clue.
Anyone got anywhere with this one? Seeing as we know that each chapter holds its' own clue I might separate the rest of the chapters up with their own thread in case anybody else is willing to try and collaborate on finding a solve.

Another observation about this picture...
I'm assuming that the numbers are linked to the letters above them,
Both E's are above the number 14 Both F's are above the number 51
There are two letter I's, one above the number 4, and the other above the number 40 (10x4) There are also two T's, one above the number 19, and the other above the number 76 (19x4)
Still none the wiser to the connection though

Anagram the letters and I come up with FIFTY EIGHT VE or EIGHT FIFTY VE. Googled both and found they could be addresses for both 58 or 850 Victoria Embankment. Victoria Embankment is the main road that parallels the Thames River through London. Using "street view", 850 VE offers a view of the Somerset House with its interesting facade, 58 VE not so interesting.
I was thinking the numbers might be referring to page numbers, but I only have the Ebook version that uses a different page numbering scheme.

Somerset House does not have a street number. When you enter that address in Google Maps, it's just showing you the approximate middle of the length of the road. Try 950, and 1920 or any other largish numbers, You get the same spot on GM because the address does not really exist. Then try searching for 48, then 35. You'll be taken east, then southwest of a presumed 850 street number. 58 is actually the more interesting place anyway because it's a public venue spot (hired rooms and catering for your event). It has a web site, 58ve.com, and there's an interesting skyline across the Thames. (OK, the same skyline as across from Somerset House, but since that's not 850 VE, I just mentioned it for 58 VE). But it would have been great if 850 really was the address for Somerset House, given it used to house birth, marriage and death certificates.
