Hi ironwill … Question asked of Forrest: Forrest's response: So it is theoretically possible to find more than a few clues from home. His statement here is what should give searchers confidence in traveling long distances to the Rockies. Oh yeah! I forgot about that question that was asked of him...good find.

We know searchers have been where 'Warm Waters Halt', and most likely 'in the Canyon Down'....... can we speculate on reasons for why they didn't discern the next clue?
Is it because, as Zap feels, the next clue is actually 'NFBTFTW' and they had overlooked that 'clue', being only concerned with 'hoB'?
Is it because they take the canyon down, but then don't stop or put in at the correct hoB?
Are there other reasons?

Maybe it’s not HOME of Brown we need to focus on so much as BELOW THE HOME of Brown. What lies below the home? "put in" = embed, deposit, enter, add and "below the home" = foundation, cellar, basement, footing, vault but then I'm stuck...

"put in" = embed, deposit, enter, add and "below the home" = foundation, cellar, basement, footing, vault but then I'm stuck... “Put in” could be in a reference to water. The “put-in” in rafting or whitewater terms would be the starting point of a river trip where boats are put into the river. So, for this clue, we have “put in” the subject, “below the home” a descriptor, and “of Brown” another descriptor. Maybe instead of looking for HOB, we should be looking for the “put in” on “below the home” Creek that is within (of) Brown. That's the most obvious interpretation and a common one that makes the most sense. But what if "put in" had a totally other meaning like plant, and Forrest planted the chest below the HOB whatever that is (soil?). Maybe PIBTHOB is not one of the directional clues for US to follow, but just explains what he did with the chest at it's final resting place. In other words, maybe HOB isn't a clue at all.

Is it because they take the canyon down, but then don't stop or put in at the correct hoB? Are there other reasons? I think no one has found HOB and known it. I also think that those who were close to the TC did not know it because they misinterpreted the clues due to not knowing HOB. I will tell you now in my honest opinion that HOB is the key to the poem. After my hopefully successful BOTG next week. I will, whether successful or not, reveal why HOB has not been found, and how I believe I have discovered it. It will show why no one has discovered it until now in Forrest's own words. I am not a newbie to the search. I have been BOTG many times, and done over 1000 hours of research. and just this last month pieced everything together. I think I have also found the blaze now. If correct I will let Forrest know.

Hi ironwill … Question asked of Forrest: Forrest's response: So it is theoretically possible to find more than a few clues from home. His statement here is what should give searchers confidence in traveling long distances to the Rockies. A searcher must go to the site to find the treasure is a sticky one for me. Using quote from above if ff used the word "site" who is to say that this is a physical location. He also used the words "in theory" telling me that SITE could mean something totally different such as a website.

The both of you got me thinking deeper about home of Brown and something finally clicked in my head putting this and brave and in the wood together. What if this is referring to insulation you install in your home. For the last few minutes I dug into this and landed in Russell Colorado. From there I headed Northeast to La Veta Pass in the Uptop Historic District. Of course, anything can relate to the poem as I have done hundreds of times. Attached is a quick link to location. www.google.com/maps/place/La+Veta+Pass-Uptop+Historic+District/@37.5835583,-105.2025828,16412m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m13!1m7!3m6!1s0x8716a43d163d8abd:0xe03cc9c64025cea1!2sRussell,+CO+81133!3b1!8m2!3d37.5552851!4d-105.2877834!3m4!1s0x8716a8bbf2b8cb6f:0xf55f0fe3be084922!8m2!3d37.5932196!4d-105.2033186 Check out the photos and reviews and you will see what I mean. Richard...since you are heading for BOTG in a couple of weeks check this place out and take the chest and go in peace.

Like Richard, I don't and won't search Colorado, no matter how compelling the solution. If you are referencing me then you are wrong. I am all in for Colorado after my latest discovery. My discovery is not a solution, it is a very distinct probability for Colorado. But feel free to discount it when I reveal it on the 28th, after my BOTG. I have searched all 4 states, but this tells me Colorado.
