Who hasn't heard of "MEDANO CREEK" it's located at the base of the great sand dunes in "The Great Sand Dunes National Park"
This creek is very very important! This creek is responsible for keeping the dunes in check! Without it there would be no sand dunes! It would take years but eventually the sand would disappear overtime.
What happens is the "MEDANO CREEK" catches and traps the sand in the summer that the winds try to relocate.
In the fall the opposite prevailing winds blow the sand back out of the creek and back into the dunes, thus keeping the dunes in Check or place.
IMO "MEDANO CREEK" is a great WWH! Not only for halting the sand from being blown clear across the state but also because "MEDANO CREEK" flows in surges! Watch this short video and come back and finish reading.

Okay cool huh?
So.."take the canyon down not far but too far to walk PUT IN BELOW the home of Brown"
There is a creature that thrives here in this park, they build their homes by the thousands, high up on the shear cliff walls out of sticky mud and grass. it's the "BROWN CAPPED ROSY FINCH"
SO to "put in below the Home of Brown" is absolutely "no place for the meek" why you ask? Because,,"there's just heavy loads and water high" (bird poop being dropped and streaks down the canyon walls everywhere so wear goggles or look quickly down)
Well,, "If you've been wise and found the blaze, look quickly down your quest to cease" "but tarry scant with marvel gaze just take the chest and go in peace"
Couple of thoughts here.
Getting pooped on by a bird is supposed to be lucky!
Fighter aircraft designers actually study the finch in flight and design aircraft to model their agility!
Forrest was going to leave his bones out there (somewhere)to be bleached overtime! Hmm..
He knows the chest is wet! Hmm.
It could be buried in something! Perfectly camouflaged!
Sitting up against the wall below a blaze of ammonia nitrate calcium phosphate magnesium water nitrogen.
Am I wrong or are these some of the elements our military uses for high explosives?
Well I hope anyone reading can use their imagination and arrive at a place in your thoughts where mine landed. Haha.
Oh and by the way when Forrest Fenn said people keep arriving where warm Waters halt and not realizing the importance or significance, remember that doesn't have to be a physical place, it can be in your thoughts.
