Let me state up front that this solution is not correct. It contains plenty of ideas that are "outside the book." There is no "master riddle." However, there is less than a year left and, like many others, I would like to see Fandango solved. The best way to do that is to share ideas, and it is with that perspective that I thought I would offer up this "solution". There are lots of items in it that have been discussed elsewhere, and I apologize in advance for not giving credit where credit is due, but this wasn't originally drafted for external consumption. There are hopefully some new ideas or thoughts that might spur some creative thinking on the part of others. Peruse it if you like while taking it for what it is - an incorrect solution. But if it puts an idea in your head or perhaps moves forward an idea you have been mulling, please do share it. Your idea or thought may spur someone else's and the collective creativity may move us closer to the goal. Here is a link to a Google Doc with the details: The Eden Solve

thisjustin,
Thanks much for the very complete and well-structured write-up. I scanned through it, see many things that I had picked up, some I did not.
the FOLD idea for p. 19 can be generated by using one of the star codes. The top border corner stars point to letters or point to inverted U units, which correspond to letters, in the top phrase (FO-LD). (in like way, the phrase SO FA OF SEE - which Fandango is shaped like on p. 5 and which is an island, is generated).
By the way, did you get your reflected by copying, reflecting, and joining images pieces, or do you have a more convenient way ?( I havent found any other way yet).
I will go over your write-up in more detail. Thank-you

So many interesting strategies and I do like this location. I am also intrigued by the Eden clues. Thanks for sharing.

Here are some Eden-related thoughts I brainstormed and sent to a friend way back in 2012. I was intrigued by the name "Eve" as a possible clue and felt that the fox face and some border letters on p. 19 (the Nikon illustration) lent themselves to an "Eve" solution:
I am starting to be intrigued by the word or letters "eve." In addition to the "forever held" repeats on pp. 19 and 55, Neptune says on p. 14, "Go! Act! / Before tomorrow eve!" We know the fox has two "eves" to deliver the key, so the two "forevers" may be critical to the puzzle.
There could also be some Adam and Eve allusions with the snake on p. 5 and the apple on p. 11.
If nothing else, the eve idea could be telling us how to approach the pages where the central figure has two eyes: use the two eye points to make a V that connects at a third, central point. If the V is correct, the ends of the lines beyond the two eyes will hit two Es in the border?
On the camera page, you can make a V through the fox's eyes with one side going into the first E in "forever," and the other going into the E in "held." There is nothing significant at the apex of the V, but the lines go right through the fox's two visible teeth and along the sides of his mouth. Both lines pass through the key image on the lens, although that's not hard to do since it's so large.
The iris flower in this picture, the "and eye reflects" phrase, as well as the red eyes, has made me assume that the eyes are somehow essential to the solution here. Maybe the only message from solving this EVE puzzle is the word "mile," which is set off from the word "smile" by extending the V into the frame. The bumper sticker on the motorhome could be the confirmer that the mile clue is part of the Cadillac Mountain illustration.

According to my word count, "eve" appears 29 times. This does not count the borders, but does count the instruction page.

Great effort, Justin. I read through it. Call me crazy, but I’ve been liking the moon shadow idea for quite sometime. In fact, we tried it a few months ago. Maybe it’s a combination of coordinates to get you to the cross, and then you finish it with the shadow. Think about it:
1) The moon shadow is given to us with Zodiose. He has the moon symbol on his belt, as well as Virgo and Aries on his shirt. On pg 11, Virgo is holding the moon as well, AND Aries has a dotted line going to the 4x4, which spells MASQUERADE. So Moon Shadow and Masquerade.
2) The moon symbol is also on the treasure chest with the other 3 symbols. Those symbols have to be our 4 main components. So if the moon represents the moon shadow, let’s look at the other 3.
3). The cross symbol could very well be bringing you to Fops page. He has a cross with a shadow. His orange ball is missing. On pg 11, there is an orange ball inside the Moon Phase watch. This watch has the seconds hand lit up in orange. The only other clock that has all 3 hands is the Dame, and her seconds hand is going through an X. Her square is what’s used to spell Masquerade. So I feel the X is representing the time and date for a full moon, as represented on the moon phase watch. You don’t need an actual date because in August, the full moon is about mid month. You can figure the details on MoonCalc.
4). The other symbol on the chest looks like a compass. This leads me to believe it’s referring to Harley’s compass.

. Practically speaking, the moon is associated with the EVE (evening). An eave can be a place to hide something.

I have found PowerPoint to be the most convenient way to reflect/flip images. thats what I use. I used to have photoshop, which allowed me to move a virtual mirror around on an image - very convenient. Don't have it anymore.

So Moon Shadow and Masquerade The only other constellation that can be fully read on his shirt is Leo. Why?
2) The moon symbol is also on the treasure chest with the other 3 symbols. Those symbols have to be our 4 main components. So if the moon represents the moon shadow, let’s look at the other 3. I have always liked the idea that the lock on the chest hinted at the four sub-puzzles required to find the master riddle.3). FWIW, the start date and end date of the hunt are both near full moons (perhaps approximating the same moon phase as in the pocket watch on p. 11).4). The other symbol on the chest looks like a compass. This leads me to believe it’s referring to Harley’s compass. I have always assumed this symbol was a compass as well, but took it as a hint to Harley which was then a hint to use GPS coordinates. So using the treasure chest symbols - use GPS (*) to find the location of the cross (+), and use the moon (C) to mark the spot of the treasure (X).
Of course this would also require you to find a date given the position of the moon and time of year would change the shadow location. This would imply a fifth step not represented by the symbols. Perhaps turn to the other chest and use 1653 to find the date.

Just things to ponder. 2) The moon symbol is also on the treasure chest with the other 3 symbols. Those symbols have to be our 4 main components. Perhaps the longitude is using the 1653. The dolphin above that has the 2 on his head. The 2 appears again on Abnakis bridge. Next to that 2 is a W. The other W is found on the “ride the dolphin” page. That’s where we find East backwards (West). So maybe the 1653 is used in longitude.
