The book contains 11 riddles- consisting of text and image. Also shown is an owl face and a color 'Wavelength' number. It has been discovered the wavelengths, as well as solving Riddle B, reorder the 10 Riddles that display the numbered wavelengths. There is also the title in Latin. (Below is the pair shown for reference- however, please see the published PDF link for better quality) The text translates to: UT QUEANT LAXIS At 2424-42-424-44-224-24-42-24, take the orthogonal. To find the Spiral with four centers, 560.606 measures, it's far. But by the Mega, it's a million times less
The numbers 2 and 4, by using morse code, translate to CARIGNAN (a city in France)

The title of the riddle - UT QUEANT LAXIS - is the first line and Latin hymn in honor of John the Baptist.
The first stanza was used by Guido of Arezzo to name the Musical Notes on the Scale by using the first two letters. Do (UT)- RE- MI- FA - SO - LA -
Ut queant laxīs resonāre fibrīs Mīra gestōrum famulī tuōrum, Solve pollūtī labiī reātum, Sāncte Iōhannēs
Translated: So that your servants may, with loosened voices, resound the wonders of your deeds, clean the guilt from our stained lips, O Saint John.
Latin to French: Peut être desserré fibres d'écho exploits merveilleux Tes serviteurs profane lâche; lèvres tachetées; ST-JEAN
Might the first two letters have meaning to the puzzle? (in French translation)

Walrus in French is 'La Morse', so the picture hints at using Morse code.
