I believe this is my first time working a TC Treasure hunt, I bought into this one a few months ago... I see he is obviously a very skilled creator, and has all kinds of experience due to the hunts he has been running.
Would anyone who has had experience in TC hunts care to share some insights into some of the styles, any previous hunts I should look at that may run along the lines of this one?
So far i am pretty comfortable with two different states, of course the one i have narrowed down the best, is the furthest away...lol. The other i am feeling good about the general area/county but i need to find the more telling details. A 3rd state is on my radar..
I see so much info in this clue, but how to narrow it down? thanks!

I have a lot of experience with TC hunts, but he seems to be trying out a completely new style with these clues. Have you (or anyone else) had any luck with the ciphers? I'm sure they are the key but I haven't had any luck at all with them. I am also pretty confident in 2 states, unsure of the 3rd.

I'm sure they are the key but I haven't had any luck at all with them. I am also pretty confident in 2 states, unsure of the 3rd. no luck on the cipher yet... I even thought, hmmm maybe he did a play on the name, pig pen... pig latin so i tried shifting the first symbol to the end to break up the double letter issue... nada... i am going to try it the other way, last letter to the front. we tried a random generator, groupings that would make sense, L to R, R to L, flipped it 4 different ways, columns up and down, zig zag... nothing... i thought i had a city name with the Western Ho clue... but i screwed up, i did not have anything...lol. (i did notice this clue has the identical info as the first pigpen cipher...that is about it so far...lol) Are you up in MN then? [ Edit: yeah, my brain is mush... great puzzle solver i am, i should check the name...lmao!!! ] (My son had been stationed in Duluth (USCG) it is VERY beautiful up there... having learned about the area, when Copper Dan had his treasure hunt I noticed the kings name was Gitchigumee before he finished his live interview...... i felt bad for CD, it was a great hunt, but it was short... he had some good people working on it!!)

I am yeah, we found the CD treasure Looking forward to his next hunt! I also thought I had something on the Western Ho clue... if you finish without anyone dying, it shows a cipher. If you reverse the symbols, "FLAWLESS" works which I thought was a huge break. The substitutions for the other ciphers doesn't work though, so back to the drawing board...
