It helps if we knew the context and the locality. Locality is Lancaster County, PA. The answer is a keyword or keywords. Exact context is not given...the answer can be anything just has to be word/words.

Two of King Henry VIII wives were named Anne (or does it have to be Ann?) Lancaster County contains letter for Ann, and To Ann Lancaster County Pennsylvania has letters for Sleepy Ann. Dont know if that is even helpful good luck, whats the prize?

"sleeping Anns" might mean Ns on it's side, like ZZ

Tried searching for famous Anns in Lancaster, but got nowhere so far. Another thought was James Buchanan (last name is two "anns"). He lived in Lancaster and is buried there. No luck with im yet either. Prize is a chest full of $1 coins.

Here's a more literal interpretation: lies at the feet of two sleeping anns Two anns, twin ann sleeping, queen anne bed. So maybe a queen anne bedroom bench or a trunk that lies at the foot of a bed. Twin also a bed size.

I see woodward hill cemetery is near S, Ann St. i also see Queen St, reminds me of the two anns of Henry VIII again, but the buchanan link seems more likely. www.findagrave.com/cemetery/46677/woodward-hill-cemetery/maphis tombstome says “here rests” (sleeps?). What is near his feet? I couldnt finder a cemetery plot map. i like how the “buch” an an is like “buck” ( $1 coins ). Also, en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Buchanan#MemorialsChoice, nice thinking on the bed interpretation. I would need to think about it some more.

The riddle: The answer lies at the feet of two sleeping anns "feet" can also be a reference to poetry lines. Annabel Lee by Poe maybe? "sleeping anns" might be an anagram. plane signs? panelings? easy to fall down rabbit holes with anagrams though. good luck

Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
I got the answer...it is related to James Buchanan, but not him directly.
His fiance (he was the only President never married) was named Ann Coleman. Her mom's name was also Ann. (two anns).
Both of them are buried next to each other in a Lancaster City church graveyard. (sleeping).
In front of their graves (at the feet) is the grave of famous Revolutionary War general Edward Hand.
Edward Hand is the answer.
