Congrats to the winner!
Pete posted a video on The Breakfast Tea and Bourbon Facebook page that describes the clues and solution.

Thanks, tab!
A big "thank you" also goes out to Pete Bissonette from Learning Strategies.
Thank you to Buffalo Trace Distillery.
And "thank you" to Jenny. I wouldn't have known about the hunt without this forum.

Thanks. It wasn't any easier for me than anyone else. I didn't get anywhere until the three word hint.

I'm a bit dense so I don't get the solution. First the arrows are a lot bigger than a 4x4 inch plot 'very precise', even the three simple words site points to a plot that is a meter square. I ruled out these concrete arrows due to the lack of a precise 4x4 plot.... not quite the elegant solution I expected.
oh and Congrats to the winner... I hope you enjoy your whiskey!

I agree with gnossos. The original statement said "It leads to an actual plot of land somewhere in the United States that is four inches by four inches. It is very small. But very precise." I don't see anything precise related to 4"x4". He could have well said it leads to a precise 5"x5" or 6"x"6 or am I missing something? goldhunter can you post the email you sent to Pete?

Agreed, how is that a 4" x 4" plot of land? And how could you possibly get that without any of the hints?

I also had an issue with the bird reference of "Reeve" county. For example one of the arrows is on Robinson Road, a Robin is a bird? So Pete indicated that if someone had picked that or one of the other bird referenced location (he found discovered it somewhat later) he would have awarded them the prize.
Here is a part of the reply Mr. Pete sent to me...
"The 4x4 would have been at the end of the arrow, and that could have been the differentiator had multiple people submitted similar solutions in the same month. The end of the arrow is about 4 inches across (where the arrow leads), and, as an aside, 4x4 is the perfect coaster size for a bottle of Buffalo Trace. :-)"
Not a perfect riddle, but the solution is much more appealing then, for example, the Fenn one.

Thanks. It wasn't any easier for me than anyone else. I didn't get anywhere until the three word hint. Well the three simple word hint was a good one, except it points to a plot of land that is a meter square.
