On p 175 of Holy Blood, Holy Grail, there is the following extract:
“ In his eulogy on Schidlof he declares that the latter, under the name of Lobineau, compiled, in 1956, ‘ a remarkable study ....on the genealogy of the Merovingian kings and the affair of Rennes-Le-Chateau.’
On p66 there appears:
‘In 1956 a series of books, articles, pamphlets, and other documents relating to Bérenger Sauniere and the enigma of Rennes-Le-Chateau began to appear in France.’
On p69:
‘The work ascribed to Madeleine Blancassal is entitled Les Descendants merovingiens et l’enigme du Razaes wisigoth( ‘The Merovingian Descendants and the Enigma of the Visigoth Razès) .....And according to the title page, the publisher of the work was the Grande Loge Alpina, the supreme Masonic Lodge In Switzerland - the Swiss equivalent of the Grand Lodge In Great Britain or Grand Orient in France.....And subsequently we discovered that the Alpina imprint appeared on two other pamphlets as well.”
Leo Schidlof is reported as being a member of the Swiss Grand Loge Alpina. Since he is reported as the author of a ‘remarkable study ....on the genealogy of the Merovingian kings and the affair of Rennes-Le-Chateau.’ and the fact that a Dossier Secret document is entitled ‘Les Descendants merovingiens et l’enigme du Razaes wisigoth‘ it can be inferred that Leo Schidlof was the author of ‘Les Descendants merovingiens et l’enigme du Razaes wisigoth‘. The fact that this work also identified the publisher as the Grand Loge Alpina, which Leo Schidlof was allegedly a member of, is consistent with the idea that Leo Schidlof was it’s author.
Leo Schidlof is reported as having compiled his genealogy of the Merovingian kings in 1956. This year is the same year that a “series of books, articles, pamphlets, and other documents relating to Bérenger Sauniere and the enigma of Rennes-Le-Chateau began to appear in France.”.
Both of these facts point directly to Leo Schidlof as being directly involved with the Rennes- Le-Chateau affair and the author of at least one of it’s documents. It is no wonder that people had ‘wished to meet with him and discuss matters with him’( p70 Holy Blood, Holy Grail).

There are a number of miniaturists mentioned in the book who could have links to the RLC mystery: Bernard Picart (1673 - 1733) who did an engraving of Poussin’s ‘Shepherds of Arcadia” Elisabeth, recte Maria Elisabeth, Archduchess of Austria (1743 - 1808) Jean Fouquet( exhibited 1781 & 1793- 1798) Louis Socrate Fouquet (1795- 1831) Mlle. Marie Amelie FleuryAntoine Claude Fleury ( worked in Hamburg 1797 - 1799) All of these individuals except Bernard Picart, were alive at the same time as Antoine Bigou. I have not been able to find out much information about the miniaturists with the surnames Fleury and Fouquet. I have no idea therfore whether any of them can be linked to the RLC mystery. There is quite a lot of information however about Elisabeth, Archduchess of Austria. She was a daughter of Marie Therese, the Empress of Austria. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archduchess_Maria_Elisabeth_of_Austria_(born_1743)Maria Elisabeth of Austria (German: Maria Elisabeth Josefa Johanna Antonia; 13 August 1743 – 22 September 1808) was an archduchess of Austria and princess of Tuscany, Bohemia, and Hungary as the daughter of Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Francis I. www.rennes-le-chateau-archive.com/chambord.phpen.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archduchess_Maria_Theresa_of_Austria-Este,_Countess_of_Chambord Maria Theresa was the eldest child of Francis IV, Duke of Modena and his niece-wife Maria Beatrice of Savoy. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_IV,_Duke_of_Modena Francis IV, Duke of Modena
He was a grandson of Maria Theresa of Austria, head of the House of Habsburg, and was heir to the Este states through his father, The reason that Elizabeth, Archduchess of Austria is of interest is that a later relative of hers( grand- niece) , Marie Therese, Archduchess of Austria - Este and the Countess of Chambord makes a donation to Bérenger Sauniere of 3,000 francs in 1886. www.labyrinthdesigners.org/alchemy-mystery/the-last-lady-of-rennes/Odd again, since one of the men attending the Spring ceremony in 1799 would later become Bishop of Cahors (Paul Louis Joseph d’Hautpoul 1764-1849) and another tutor of the son of the duke of Chambord (Marie Constant Fidele Henri Amand d’Hautpoul 1780-1853). And I didn’t mention Alphonse Henri d’Hautpoul (1789- 1865), First Minister of France. There is also the above link between the Hautpoul family and the Count of Chambord.

Another possible link of Leo Schidlof to the parchments is via Emile Hoffet. www.renneslechateau.nl/2007/11/11/les-dossiers-secrets/May 1966 | Addendum to the first document by Serge Roux The document consists of an article by, Lionel Burrus take from ‘Semaine Catholique Genevoise’, a magazine that never existed and in which Burrus defends Henri Lobineau, which he claims is in fact Leo Schidlof. It also claims Schidlof was given the genealogies by Emile Hoffet.

Albe makes mention of Henri Boudet who supposedly communicated a secret to Léopold Vannier, Superior of the Brotherhood of Notre-Dame de Marceille, By Limoux, Aude. Albe also claims that Émile Hoffet's library ended up in the possession of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers, before becoming part of the secret archives of the Knights of Malta.A spurious letter attributed to Noël Corbu, containing part of the envelope postmarked 'Couiza 1962' and relating to Émile Hoffet, addressed to Herbert Regis, who, according to Edmond Albe, was to meet Fakhar ul Islam who was carrying the secret leather briefcase of Leo Schidlof ('Henri Lobineau'), but died before he could reach him. A spurious letter to Marius Fatin from the "International League of Antiquarian Booksellers" dated 2 July 1966. priory-of-sion.com/rlc/bag/fatin.htmlMarius Fatin purchased the castle in Rennes-le-Château after World War II.

The encoded message in the SMALL parchment reads: A Dagobert II Roí et a Sion est ce tresor et il est la mortTranslation: To Dagobert II King and to Sion is this treasure and he is there dead
‘ He is there dead’ seems to refer back to King Dagobert II. www.oeildusphinx.com/Stenay_mythe.htmlDagobert II, fut assassiné près de Stenay, dans la forêt de la Woëvre. King Dagobert II was assassinated near Stenay, in the forest of the Woëvre. The ‘ there’ referred to in the enciphered message can be interpreted as the place where Dagobert II was assassinated - the forest of the Woëvre. Woëvre is simply a variant spelling of Wuivre, Vouivre, Wivre, Wyvern.!The ‘ there’ in the enciphered message is ambiguous. The clue therefore can be interpreted as referring to both the place where Dagobert II is dead, and also the place where the treasure is. Since Dagobert II’s place of death is associated with the Woëvre/Wyvern it can be concluded that the place where the treasure is also the Wyvern.

Further support for the idea that the source of the text of the large parchment is The St.Cuthbert Gospel, is provided by the online clue: At the end is where the chapter and verse can be seen to be differentVerse -> versus(L.) -> verses(L.) Different -> anders(D.) -> nad er s -> not(W.) there(D.) s If the surplus S from the word “ anders” is added to the word “ chapter” the word “ chapters” appears. The clue can now be seen to read: At the end is where the chapters and verses can be seen to be not thereIn his paper: Account of Ancient Manuscript of St.John’s Gospel, by the Rev.John Milner, F.A.S. In a Letter to the Rev. John Brand, Secretary, John Milner writes, referring to the St. Cuthbert Gospel: “ The text is without chapters, verses, diphthongs, or points of any kind”Since this sentence is consistent with the information contained in the online clue, the clue can be inferred as confirmation that the source of the text of the large parchment is the St.Cuthbert Gospel. From the above, it can be interpreted that the phrase ‘ those not numbered’ in the online clue: Her words to speak are from those not numberedrefers to the absence of Chapter and Verse numbers in The Gospel of St. Cuthbert. It can be interpreted therfore that the phrase ‘ those not numbered’ is a reference to The St. Cuthbert Gospel. Her words to speak are from those not numberedHer -> sa(F.) -> as -> sicut (L.) -> cutis -> skin(L.) -> membrana( L.) -> parchment Words To -> the(Gr.) Speak -> dicere(L.) -> deliver (L.) -> de il ver -> of(F.) the(I.) far(D.) -> of the pell(W.) -> of the long(W.) Are From Those not numbered ->The Gospel of St. Cuthbert Her words to speak are from those not numbered -> The words of the long parchment are from The Gospel of St. Cuthbert. The absence of Chapter and Verse numbers is the feature of the St. Cuthbert Gospel that makes it the preferred candidate for the source of the text of the large parchment over Wordsworth & White.

Ruby Felixir said: “ It appears from the position of the first line of the Latin text on the Small Parchment that it was copied from a facsimile of an original page of text from the Codex Bezae that was printed in the book 'Dictionnaire de la Bible' by F. Vigouroux.
When people descibe the Small Parchment as a hoax, they mean that it is a modern confection that was falsely presented by its modern fabricators to be much older, and to be a parchment that had been found by Fr. Sauniere. .
What, then, is the purpose for which the Small Parchment was confected? The text of the parchment contains a mildly hidden message about one King Dagobert II. The message states that this king is dead 'there'. Where is 'there'? The location of where King Dagobert II is dead, is not stated in the message, but the location is known to be the town of Stenay, and that he died inside a viper.”I have already shown how the source text of the small parchment from the Codex Bezae, could have been accessible to Abbe Bigou. To believe it is a modern ‘confection’ copied from Dictionnaire de la Bible, without showing that it was impossible for Antoine Bigou to have had access to the text, is to jump to a premature conclusion.I have not come across any argument or evidence that shows that it was impossible for Antoine Bigou to have had access to the text. rubell.wordpress.com/tag/vouivre/Variable Spellings
Cuivre, Gibre, Givre, Guibre, Nwywre, Vaisvre, Vaivre, Vaure, Vavre, Vebre, Vèvre, Vievre, Vive, Vivre, Voire,Voivre, Vosvre, Vouwra, Vuipre, Vuivre, Wivre, Wivrot, Woëvre, Woèvre.
Latin : Vipera, Vipère.As regards the question of where King Dagobert II is dead, in light of the theme of the Wyvern that I have highlighted running through the RLC mystery, it should be obvious that the Woëvre forest is the place we should think of as the place where King Dagobert II is dead. The simply hidden message is obviouslyl a reference to the Wyvern. This conclusion is confirmed by the reference to Sion. Sion can refer to both the old city of Jerusalem and the New Heavenly City of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is also known as The City of God. Sion therfore can be correlated with the phrase : Jerusalem, the city of God which in Greek is : Ιερουσαλήμ ή Πόλις 3εουΙερουσαλήμ ή Πόλις 3εου = 1746 in Greek isopsephy Since Wyvern = 1745 in English gematria Wyvern can be correlated with the number 1746 by colel. This means that Sion and Wyvern/Woëvre can be correlated with one another. This correlation confirms that it is forest of Woëvre that is the relevant answer to the question of: Where is King Dagobert II ? This also explains the reason why ‘The Priory of Sion” is so-called.

One of the most interesting of the online clues is: The virgin’s sign upon the skull, see where two met in the desertThe first part of the clue - the virgin’s sign upon the skull - can be interpreted in all manner of different ways, like all the online clues. sacred-texts.com/chr/bct/bct09.htmKnow also that Christ was like unto Adam in everything, even as it is written. In that very place where Melchisedek ministered as a priest, and where Abraham offered up his son Isaac as an offering, the wood of the Cross was set up, and that self-same place is the centre of the earth, and there the Four Quarters of the earth meet each other. For when God made the earth His mighty power was running before it, and the earth was running after it, and the power of God stood still and became motionless in Golgotha; and that same place formeth the boundary of the earth. When Shem took up the body of Adam, that same place, which is the door of the earth, opened itself. And when Shem and Melchisedek had deposited the body of Adam in the centre of the earth the Four Quarters [Fol. 45a, col. 1] of the earth closed in about it, and embraced Adam, and straightway that opening was closed firmly, and all the children of Adam were not able to open it. And p. 225 when the Cross of Christ, the Redeemer of Adam and his sons, was set up upon it, the door of that place was opened in the face of Adam. And when the Wood (i.e. the Cross) was fixed upon it, and Christ was smitten with the spear, and blood and water flowed down from His side, they ran down into the mouth of Adam, and they became a baptism to him, and he was baptized.
And when they arrived at Gâghûltâ [Golgotha], which is the centre of the earth, the Angel of the Lord showed Shem the place [for the body of Adam]. And when Shem had deposited the body of our father Adam upon that place, the four quarters [of the earth] separated themselves from each other, and the earth opened itself in the form of a cross, and Shem and Melchizedek deposited the body of Adam there. And as soon as they had laid it therein, the four quarters [of the earth] drew quickly together, and enclosed the body of our father Adam, and the door of the created world was shut fast. And that place was called Karkaphtâ [“Skull”], because the head of all the children of men was deposited there. www.patheos.com/blogs/anxiousbench/2013/10/the-cave-of-treasures/The one that seems the most likely to be correct is to interpret ‘ the skull’ as a reference to ‘ Golgotha’ which means ‘ skull’. Golgotha is said to have been located at the centre of the earth. Another place considered to be the centre of the earth was Delphi in Greece. Delphi was called the ‘ omphalos’ or ‘ navel’ of the earth. Using this information the ‘ skull’ in the clue can be correlated with the ‘ navel’. In Latin ‘ umbilicus’ meaning ‘ navel’ can also be translated as ‘ centre’. www.google.co.uk/search?q=Book+of+surgeons+and+barbers+zodiac+man&client=safari&sca_esv=d24f8c82e0b70a04&channel=ipad_bm&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwipkd7N_OyEAxX0WEEAHfLHBLoQ_AUIBigB&biw=768&bih=922#imgrc=ryppJaOhNz5TkMIn the image of the Zodiac Man from the Guild Book of the Barber Surgeons the ‘ navel’ is shown to be ruled by Virgo - the Virgin. The ‘sign’ of the Virgin in this illustration is a vessel that looks rather like a chalice or Hanap, both of which have been identified with the Holy Grail in literature. From the above the first part of the clue can be understood as a reference to The Holy Grail. Since the virgins sign/ Holy Grail, is upon the navel, it might be inferred that the Holy Grail is located at the navel. Since Jerusalem, where Golgotha was located, was at the centre of the earth, and since it can also be equated with Sion which can be equated with the Wouivre/Wyvern , it can be inferred that The Holy Grail is located at the Wyvern. www.luminarium.org/encyclopedia/gutunowain.jpgAnother sign for Virgo used on zodiac man images, is an image of the Virgin and child as seen in the above zodiac man illustration. If the virgin’s sign can be equated with an image of the Virgin and child, could the Holy Grail be the tomb of The Virgin Mary and her son, Jesus? According to Ben Hammott, there is a local tradition in the Rennes - le- Chateau area that the tomb of The Virgin Mary and Jesus is located in the area!

X does not just mark the spot, crosses can lead the way alsoen.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cave_of_TreasuresThe Cave of Treasures (Classical Syriac: ܡܥܪܬ ܓܙܐ, romanized: Maʿarraṯ ġazzē, Arabic: مغارة الكنوز, romanized: Maghārat al-Kunūz, Ge'ez: Baʿāta Mazāgebet, Tigrinya: መዝገብ ገዛ), sometimes referred to simply as The Treasure, sacred-texts.com/chr/bct/bct03.htmAdam's body was buried in the Cave of Treasures,The Wyvern can be correlated with the centre of the earth. The centre of the earth is the place where the skull of Adam is said to be buried. The cross on which Jesus was crucified is said to have been set up over the place where Adam’s skull was buried.Since Jesus was crucified with two others on either side, the centre of the earth can also be correlated with (3) crosses. In this way Wyvern can be correlated with both a X(cross) and (3) crosses. If the online clue is interpreted in this way it again leads to the conclusion that the Wyvern marks the spot. The location of Adam’s skull is the centre/ navel of the earth which can be correlated with the Wyvern. The location of Adam’s skull is also said to be in the The Cave of Treasures. The Cave of Treasures is also known as The Treasure. It can be inferred therefore that the Wyvern is where The Treasure is. The navel/ centre has previously been shown to be able to be equated with the Grail ( via Virgo sign of zodiac man in Guild Book of Barber Surgeons). Since the navel/ centre can also be equated the Treasure, the Treasure can be correlated with the Grail.

Since The World-Tree/The Tree of Life connects the Three Worlds, it can be surmised that the messenger can be equated with The World-Tree/ The Tree of Life. The fact that the messenger is said to be the “sole conveyor of the truth of the three worlds” can be interpreted to mean that the messenger is the sole conveyor of the truth of the world-centre. Since the world-centre has been correlated with the Wyvern, it can be inferred that the messenger is the sole conveyor of the truth of the Wyvern.....
The Tree of Life includes the words ‘The’ and ‘Life’, In French ‘the’ is ‘Le’ and in Hebrew, ‘chaim’ can be translated as ‘life’. The words ‘le’ and ‘chaim’ are an anagram of the name ‘Michael’.
Take the Tree to the heavens to find the code of it’s secret message
’Take the tree to the heavens’ can be interpreted as meaning that the tree being referred to in this clue is The World-Tree/The Tree of Life whose ‘branches reach to the heavens’.
The clue can be reworded as:
Take the tree to the heavens and find the message of it’s secret code.
When read in this way the clue suggests that the World-Tree/The Tree of Life is a secret code and contains a message.
Since the Latin word for ‘message’ , ‘ nuntius’ can also be translated as ‘ messenger’ it can be inferred that The World Tree/The Tree of Life, is a secret code for the messenger. Since ‘The Tree of Life’ has been shown to hide the name ‘ Michael’ within it, who is equated with a messenger, it can be inferred that The Tree of Life is a secret code for the name of the messenger.

The Tree of Life is the Great Tree referred to in the text of the puzzle. ‘ In Scandinavian and other mythologies the world axis is represented as the trunk of a great tree. It’s branches reach to the heavens, its roots go down to the abyss, and it’s central section , where the trunk goes into and out of the earth, is our present plane of existence’p14, The Centre of the World, John Michell, 1994 ’ Wherever the traditional world-view is upheld, every central spot is identified with the cosmological image of a world-pole ....’
p18 ’ The “all-seeing- eye” guides those in the three worlds, Heaven,Earth, and Hell, to the safety of their destiny’p104 The Companion The Tree of Life is said to be located at the centre of the world. As such it can be correlated with the World Tree/ World-Axis/ Great Tree. The world axis/great tree is said to connect the three worlds of Heaven, Earth and Hell. ‘ This child of the shepherd lands of Arcadia, this Michael, this Mercury, this Thoth, is the sole conveyor of the truth of the Three Worlds’.The common thread that connects (The Archangel) Michael, Mercury and Thoth is that all three were messengers of the gods. From the above passage from the LRB it can be interpreted that the messenger is the sole conveyor of the truth of the Three Worlds. Since the World-Tree/The Tree of Life connects the Three Worlds of Heaven, Earth and Hell, and the messenger is the sole conveyor of the truth of the Three Worlds, it may be surmised that the messenger may be correlated with the Great Tree/The WorldTree/The Tree of Life. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/HaimChayyim (Hebrew: חַיִּים Ḥayyīm, Classical Hebrew: [ħajˈjiːm], Israeli Hebrew: [ˈχa.im, ħaˈjim]), also transcribed Haim, Hayim, Chayim, or Chaim (English pronunciations: /haɪm/ HYME, /xaɪm/ KHYME, /ˈxɑːjiːm/ KHAH-yeem), is a Hebrew name meaning "”life”. The phrase ‘ The Tree of Life’ contains the words ‘ The’ and ‘ Life’. In French ‘ the’ is ‘ Le’ and in Hebrew the word ‘ chaim’ May be translated as ‘ life’. 'Thus every centre can properly be seen as a world-centre....
A temple or landscape which reflects the traditional image of paradise includes a number of essential features.A centrally placed stone, symbolically hermaphroditic, represents the omphalos receiving the universal pole.Below it lies the abyss, the entrance to which is seen nearby in a sacred well or oracular cave. Around the stone is a sacred precinct, a microcosm of the whole territory, laid out a formal model of paradise with fountains, groves, shrines to the gods of the four quarters and altars to the twelve winds.
The omphalos is the source of all goodness, symbolised by the four rivers of paradise that issue from it towards the four points of the compass. These may be identified with local springs and streams, and they are also represented diagrammatically by four highways extending at right angles from the central point.'
p18 The Centre of the World, John Mitchell
'....and at Royston, Hertfordshire, is Pennick's ' perfect geomantic centre' on the crossing of the Icknield Way and Ermine Street. The spot is marked by an omphalos rock, the King Stone, and below it a subterranean chamber, carved with archaic figures emblematic of the Mysteries, was discovered in 1742.'
p124
Royston which is obliquely referred to in the Maranatha - Et in Arcadia Ego puzzle via the references to the gathering of the red serpents of Icknield and Ermine, has been identified by Nigel Pennick, as the centre of England. Since any centre can be correlated with the World Centre, Royston can be correlated with the Wyvern which has also been correlated with the Centre of the World.

(or Quis sicut Deus?), a Latin sentence meaning "Who [is] like God?", is a literal translation of the name Michael (Hebrew: מִיכָאֵל, transliterated Micha'el or Mîkhā'ēl).The meaning of the name ‘ Michael’ is ‘ Who is like God?’ If the punctuation mark is ignored in ‘ Who is like God’, the name Michael can be interpreted as being like ‘ God’. Since G O D can be correlated with 7 15 4 , so too can Michael. Since 7154 is an anagram of 1745, the English gematria value of Wyvern, Michael too can be correlated with Wyvern.
