Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I’m new to this hunt. My assumption has been that the golden apple is buried, but something that Martin, the GR Riddler, said in his appearance on the Codebar podcast made me question that. When Martin had a conversation with the author of TGAT on his front porch, the author said something like he drives by and “sees it” periodically. That made me wonder if what he sees is the site where the golden apple is buried (the purpose of which is to confirm that the site is undisturbed by construction and whatnot over the years) or if he sees the golden apple itself (presumably encased in clay)?
Any thoughts on this? Martin?

This is all we have to go with so your guess is as good as anyone's.

By "it" I meant the location, not the treasure itself. My understanding is that the location has not been disturbed. I believe the treasure is buried.
