I will email players and post here on this thread a new hint for the hunt this Friday November 10th, sometime after noon Pacific.
You already have all the information you need to have a successful search but I will try to make the next step even clearer.

Just a reminder, expect a hint that should unblock many of you on the compass line later today.

This hint does help but is the key to find a cipher or a key to decipher the path? That is a huge question for me.

0 for 2 on providing useful hints in my opinion.

Here is the hint retro13.com/series/issue0/With Retro13 puzzles sometimes you find your path first and other times the compass, but you will almost always need both to be first to the coin. In Issue #0 you first uncover your compass through some shifting. Now your compass intends to guide you to a key that will unlock your path, that is the second line. The compass line is a clue referencing a scene from a movie. L.B reveals the gauntlet while saying this memeable phrase.

It has been estimated that there are approximately 500,000 movies
The average script has 110 scenes.
So we only have 55 million to consider.
Better odds than the lottery. Let's go for it!

I was hoping for 'L.B. is XXXX'. Wishful thinking, I know. C'mon choice, you have the best hints.

I’m also wondering if the “side puzzle” Beetlejuice topic posted on this forum is actually related to this hunt…
I went on a mad goose chase thinking it could have something to do with the Baldwin brothers (Alec and Stephen) because of the Beetlejuice thing—Alec Baldwin is in it…and the image of the dinosaur in the puzzle—Stephen Baldwin was Barney Rubble in the live action Flintstones movie. But, I’m thinking I’m on a wrong path with this one.
I just wonder if the Beetlejuice thing is actually related and part of the puzzle 🤷♀️
I’ve also looked up “memeable quotes” from Lucille Ball and nothing stands out. And I’ve also looked at lists of famous people with the initials LB, and nobody stands out. Maybe LB is a character instead of the actor?
This puzzle is totally getting me thinking!

I'm curious to see if anyone manages to catch the wild goose.

Telling us to keep doing what we are already doing and failing at is not helpful IMO.
