Now I don’t see mention of any thoughts about Page 10 of the book “The Secret “. So I will give you my theory.🤔
Everything , ( pictures / story line) in the book applies to the puzzles in some way. BP is not going to put an image in the book unless he is trying to convey a message.
So let’s look at page 10.
We see an individual ( you the treasure hunter) sleeping ,eyes covered with a dunce hat on his head. Now you have that devilish lizard with his long long “pointing in the other direction ” tail wrapped around that characters feet. What this image is telling me is for people to wake up put your glasses on because there are hints in the map. So extend( the long tail) the arrows for extra clues. Why naked? maybe you should collect all the pieces to solve the puzzle.
Im going to start off with the “Quebec City” aka Montreal puzzle.
We see on the map that the arrow is emanating from the French shore. So what happened on this shore by Dunkirk? There was a WW2 battle as we already know. So is a battle by the shore a clue? It is for Quebec City( Montcalm and Wolfe battle between the French and English. Joan of Arc was famous for a battle between the French and English.
Let’s now extend that arrow on the map and see if it gets close to a clue. We get close to Lille France. French for young girl is Jeune fille.Joan of Arc was a young girl. One might say that Lille and Fille are close together. When we look at an old map of the city of Lille we see it was walled and had a citadel much like Quebec City. It also was located by the fork of a river much like Quebec City is at the fork or confluence of the St. Lawrence river and the St. Charles river.
Lets now look closer at an old map . Maybe we need to use a “Mercator Map” or something older. We see that territory exchanged hands numerous times over the centuries . Sometimes French, sometimes Dutch and sometimes English ruled . Let’s see if we can apply this to the painting. We see an image of John A McDonald ,( English) who became the grand leader of the country. That’s why he is the “ Big Cheese “ smiling …can you say cheese….. kind of a Dutch thing, who is wearing a “French” beret,( France). The French eventually ended up occupying the land , lost the battle but won the war,( that’s why the hat is on the top and north of Ottawa ) . The image is painted like a (Dutch) master might.
Lets go back to the map on pg. 10 and we see that BP uses the words Normandy and LowLands. Well Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in Rouen Normandy. There was a WW2 battle on the beachs of Normandy. The location of Lowlands in the map would place you in Belgium , not Holland. Then again those boarders changed a lot. The people in that neck of the woods speak both French and English ( like in Canada). Now another thing about lowlands is that the Joan of Arc monument is in a sunken garden ( low land).
NOLA
We see the arrow coming off the shore of Aquitaine aka France. Might need to get an old map and look for the big cities / landmarks etc. So let’s extend the arrow backwards and we get close to two towns , Orleans and Tours. So we have possible hints for Tours )(Voodoo Queen cemetery tours). New Orleans and water is involved in the park(Aqua).
Roanoke
Again the cartography on pg. 10 is not precise but possibly close enough . More exploration of maps may garner more confirmation for the location of the casque.
NYC
Russian . Look at where the arrow emanates from on the map and the point where the arrow makes a turn. Sometimes it might cross over another letter or country and that might give you a clue. I’m not digging deep down in all of these for clues.
Boston
We see the arrow coming from the boot of Italy. This puzzle was already solved but may help in solving the others.
Chicago
The Irish. When we draw a line across Ireland we see it going across most of the country but Grantstown falls along that line. I think Dingle is mentioned somewhere in the book.
St. Augustine
On the map the arrow comes off the country of Spain and across Lisbon Portugal. Columbus sailed out of that port and Ponce de Leon also joined Columbus at one point in time. So we Should be looking for a Spanish explorer and what was he famous for.
Milwaukee
I think this one is a combo. Both Scandia ( That’s why you have that Viking image 11(a pair of ones) and the Lief Ericsson statue in Milwaukee) and Germany.
We see that in Scandia the arrow seems to emanate from a fiord and possibly the town of Namsos. Spelled in reverse SOSMAN. Think Coastguard.
For Germany the arrow emanates from the letter “M”, ( Milwaukee). Also one could look at this as “Germ” and “Many” signifying something like a sewer, ( many germs).
Cleveland
One might want to investigate this one more. Arrow seems to start in Athens.
Charleston
A bit tricky but I think Timbuktu is the city in Africa . It was a popular slave trade centre named after a slave girl called Buktu.
Houston
We see the arrow coming from “Jeddah” . Think “Jedi” and Star Wars ,movie released in 1976. Houston space program.
San Francisco
“Got nothing for you , head back to camp”
No, there is a hint and it’s in the words “Prince Yi” Mens (washroom) who sit on the throne aka toilet.” Hsi Wang Mu”, Wang pretty much says it all , it’s slang for……. .” Shin- seen” reminds me of what one can see between the bathroom stall walls. Overall this is your “Stonewalls door” at the GGP washroom . Another thing about “Stonewall” is that back in the 80s it was a famous controversial ( made the news), Gay bar in NYC. Back in the day Gays would frequent Mens washrooms to engage in acts that were deemed inappropriate and against the law.
