I received a question about the first line. The lines for letters are correct, but there is a stray mark that shouldn't be there. So it should read:
__ __ __ __ __ __ __ __
Just my bad typing!
Thanks!

I have received a few questions about the spaces provided for letters. I rechecked them all, and they are all correct. If the word you have does not fit, it is not the right word.
Good luck!

I was a little behind in checking my messages, but today, I received two correct answers!
Congratulations to happyhunting for being the first to submit the correct answer, and to mikec for coming in a close second.
I will be posting the solution and prize for this hunt a little later.
Again, congratulations to the winners and thank you all for playing.
Now it's time to start preparing for the Annual Masquerade Tribute Hunt for Charity!

I was completely fooled by this one. Typically FHH's puzzles have multiple layers. So even though I had all the 12 words (except last one; I used WINE as mikec), I tried to make a sentence or phrase or even a name i.e. Christopher Columbus utilizing the (#) again unsuccessfully. Congrats to winners.

Thanks for playing!
