When I first saw it, I thought it might be something as well. However, it's a map of London - a stock image. Likely not a clue.

Probably only decorative - I agree...... but with the small writing on his other website on the notebook that said something like 'you're looking really close' it makes you wonder...... to at least question everything..... I would think he knows we'll be looking at everything....

I'm pretty exhausted from hunts like Fenn and Xavier Marx which weren't. Between the additional volume of information to analyze, insiders (not XM that I know of), private hints, communication across disparate platforms, I find staying on top of communications and its asymmetry to be exhausting and frustrating.

. I hear you there, agnesdei. Too many sources of hints and clues in some hunts (let alone trying to distinguish what's what) to really work on "pure" puzzle solving. I do believe that both the Chase and Xavier can be worked directly from a limited amount of material, although it's tough to keep away from all the rest.
Along those lines as a segue, this puzzles website has a path winding (thread) down the home page - it goes through the letters TO RUR ...a ha. So, to a rural area with a crowded city map as a herring? Even crazier, the sci fi robot play RUR has the contRibUtoR as Playfair. Go figure. Hard to know whats what until we get in past our ankles.
Nice job on correlating the map.

So, I know I'm preaching to the choir(meaning you 😁), when I say its too soon to rule on anything, yet. Maybe hint to location that near a trail, road, waterway that has series of dog-legs? Also perhaps notable is the somewhat triangular shaped open area, somewhat center of map, near the route? LOL, just throwing stuff against the wall to see what might stick..............while waiting! Also, shout-out to agnesdei for the map!!! THANKS!!! loco
