As I see it: Time is money, Turkey Arrow A broadhead is a type of arrow used to hunt turkey...but that's as far as I can go. There are two towns named Brodhead, one being in Kentucky and one being in Wisconsin. Can anyone glean anything else from this? I didnt get anywhere with it. there are towns and places named arrow and turkey, too

Oh Kay.... I had a pretty strong Ah-Ha moment today and proposed a solution to this riddle. If I am correct it is devious, but fair. And some of the things that Mr. Bissonette says in ADDITION to the clues may be also pretty useful. I sure hope so!

Pete has implied that several people are really, really close to the solution (perhaps explaining his recent trip to Buffalo Trace). Perhaps you are now added to his list. Does your solution make any sense of "Los Angeles Atlanta" and/or Pete's instruction (for the searchers who are close) to study the first sentence of the June 2020 clue: "The Bourbon Red is the Rudolph of the bird family"?

the Los Angeles definitely, but Atlanta only obtusely. The Rudolph clue is pretty obvious, but it may be more like a dad joke to some, If I am correct.

If you’re “thinking outside of the case,” and The Fifth fits in your solve, we’re on the same page. I keep getting wrapped up on whether to name the thing that flys or where it’s placed. If Pete stays with his intention to read the submissions the first week of the month, we’ll either have a winner named, or one more person will be close. Good luck. :-)

I know it is only March 3rd, but i have not heard back so far regarding my February 2021 submission. Pretty sure that as a part of the rules update, Pete said he would check answers on the first of every month.....I've been sending only one per month to (hopefully) eliminate the possible final spots. IMO there are three "neighboring" locations where the riddle leads AND that is the reason Mr. B has made statements like three (or was it four) people are on the right track, (or was it train of thought?). However that was back in November 2020 and those folks probably gave up OR did not REALIZE that they were close.
tab- The clue 'fifth' for me simply points to the fifth word in the riddle = realized.

Anyone willing to put personal pride aside and crowdsource this thing to finally figure it out? I mean, there’s 12 bottles in a case. If 6 of us can figure it out it’s still 2 bottles a person.

I'm willing to help out anyway I can but I think we'll need one of the three who are flying in the right direction. There is something they are missing and may need help to get them over the finish line.

Pete says on FB to "Think differently." From what I've read, many are thinking of the realized definition as the word concrete. If you use the other definition option of Accomplished and add that in to the riddle - I fly like an accomplished turkey. Pair that with the June 2020 clue - (The Bourbon Red is the Rudolph of the bird family. “With the sleigh full of toys…”) Read Twas the Night Before Christmas. Rudolph and the other reindeer land on the roof "with the sleigh full of toys" That leads me to believe we may be looking for a place on a roof. An accomplished turkey would be able to fly onto a rooftop. An arrow could fly to a rooftop. This doesn't explain all of the clues but just a few I've been thinking of recently.
I fly like a realized Bourbon Red with a pointy head and feathers on my butt.
Where am I?
Clue, December 2017 – The Fifth. Clue, November 2017 - The book's main character, Nelson Ware, has said, "Every word is important in my writing." Clue, March 2019 – Focus on the word “realized.” There is one definition that can change how you look at the riddle in a BIG way. Clue, March 2020 – A massive endeavor points to your case of bourbon. Clue, April 2020 – Bourbon is for celebrating the riddle, not finding the solution. Clue, May 2020 - I fly [What flies?] … like a realized [What does that mean?] … Bourbon Red [What is that?] … with a pointy head and feathers on my butt. [Everyone gets that.] … Where am I? [Well?] Clue, June 2020 – The Bourbon Red is the Rudolph of the bird family. “With the sleigh full of toys…” Clue, July 2020 – Fly on! Put a stamp on it. Let’s get the riddle to its destination!!! Clue, August 2020 – Los Angeles Atlanta Clue, September 2020 – Definition of realize: transitive verb 1a: to bring into concrete existence : ACCOMPLISH Clue, November 2020 – For those who are so close (and you know it), study the first sentence of the June 2020 clue.

Also, the definition for Arrow from Merriam Webster:
arrow noun ar·row | \ ˈer-(ˌ)ō , ˈa-(ˌ)rō \ plural arrows Definition of arrow (Entry 1 of 2) 1: a missile shot from a bow and usually having a slender shaft, a pointed head, and feathers at the butt 2: something shaped like an arrow especially : a mark (as on a map or signboard) to indicate direction

Glad to see others actively working on this one. I’d like to see it solved, even if I’m wrong.
My solve is on a roof. And for what it’s worth, I’m interpreting the Rudolph clue as referring to the American Eagle, which might be considered the most popular bird, kinda like Rudolph is the most famous reindeer.

I'm convinced there are hints in other things Pete has written. Like in one of his original emails that Jenny posted
The Riddle is still on. - Something related to a light perhaps? similar to "fly on" hint. We have no winner from August. - Referring to a game of some sorts. Combined with "Put a team of brains together and get unraveling." combined with "This is not a guessing game." found a location that is a near perfect solution. - Hinting at Concrete solution perhaps. Have fun playing with the big unravel. - Ball of string perhaps? Maybe the largest ball of string? What can you unravel?
