While I'm still stumped on this I have solved the code on page 214. It was rather simple. Trying now to see if it is relevant to the following page.

Would you mind sharing that process here or in the other thread on the other puzzles in the book?

Would you mind sharing that process here or in the other thread on the other puzzles in the book? Think of them as numbers...not letters. And put a dash between then. Reminds me of a similar method Now if someone can just tell me how the hell to solve that OOOooOOoOOooO puzzle my life will almost be complete!

It is a just a process creation error I believe. The "S" is "various" but I think it should've been TA and TD which would represent the following word and fix the two misunderstandings.

That makes some sense, but TD results in an A not an E. So it would still be "Don't say the sky's the limit when there are footprints on tha moon."

I'm starting to think we get the puzzle pieces in the right order by doing the magic square and all that, but then we put them in order on the last page. It's only then that we put them through a Vigenere Cipher. Just a thought.

It's only then that we put them through a Vigenere Cipher. Just a thought. As I opined before, I don't like that possibility -- it would mean two consecutive (blind) transpositions. That's poor crypto. Doesn't mean Jenny didn't do it, but it would be inelegant to decrypt via transposition-transposition-Vigenere.

Isn't it Transposition, Anagram/TOTC magic square, Transposition, Vigenere?

Fennster: I would call it book code, transposition, transposition, Vigenere. I still believe those 80 numbers are on the last page of the book for the same reason that the book code is at the beginning.
