This is not a new solution. This has been one of my favorites for a long time. Problem is this place is under jurisdiction of National parks and feds don't issue dig permit. Not even probe or GPR. Unless you want to risk federal charges I would stay away! They got eyes in the sky! Now that's the thing - I think all of these developments are meant to get us to Aquatic Park, but I actually don't think it's buried there. I'm working out the kinks now. As you very well know, a non-linear narrative completely shifts how we treat this. I'm working out the assortment now. So far, the verse now reads like VERY direct instructions instead of vague and segmented.

The Maritime Museum was acquired by the National Park Service in 1978. I would assume in good faith, Priess would know not to bury this on federal land.

Yeah I just saw a google image of the west speaker tower with the Balclutha and the stone fence and damn near shit a brick! If you google "aquatic park speaker towers" you will see the picture. I think the west speaker tower had the metal grating on the front face longer than the east one as well that look like the bars on the window. The west speaker tower is also more discrete for burying a casque. I echo Sluggo's sentiments...tonight has been a lot of fun and its amazing what you can accomplish when you work together. You don't see a lot of cooperation among people on Facebook or Q4T, which is why I like this site.

If it was 3,000 we'd be getting nowhere. Kinda makes me want to start some third-party chat for us to communicate in case someone snipes our ideas and claims all the glory Just kidding, I know Aquatic Park has been a target in the past, but I'm pulling stuff from my previous research to supplement the Mira Chimera/Alibi Elf hints. It actually feels like real, humbled progress is being made right now. I just wanted to point out, though I'm sure it's been found before, that Galileo was obviously an observer of the planets and the moons. There are 11 of said moons, and James Polk was the 11th president. Galileo High, an observable place of education from this general area, borders Polk Street.

The feds had acquired the land in 1978, however, and I'm sure Priess would have been aware of that, even if he expected this to be unearthed in a matter of months.

I keep going back and forth between this forum and piecing together the other stuff - I believe we are meant to take a cable car journey in this quest. The hunt was meant to be fun. It's hard to explain where my mind is at and the bigger picture I am beginning to see, but in the simplest sense - I still believe it is buried south of Ghirardelli. The reverse letters on the top are just too big of an indication in my eyes.
Give me another couple hours and I'll post a thorough walkthrough that you guys can poke at for holes.

Does it help if you flip the image in the book to orientate it with a map? Some of the other limbs could represent other piers perhaps?
sfsean, the casque will be in this park...you don't put this much into a specific area to move the casque elsewhere. The base of the west speaker tower looks promising!
I hear you about the federal land, but we are running into the same issue with the North Carolina puzzle, so who knows what Byron was thinking in this regard? The world was a different place 40 years ago...

Today's San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park was authorized in 1988; the maritime museum is among the park's many cultural resources."
But don't worry - I've got something that will REALLY blow your mind, Choice.

I have to ask - what's the deal with the acorns? Is that what you think the rose pedals could be? Could they possibly be Chestnuts, as in the road? I'm going to be optimistic and point to the verses to show why we can have Aquatic Park as a huge marker, but have the dig spot be somewhere else. Say that ALL this imagery is to show us where we want to use as a point of reference. However, the verses involving "Not far away....education and justice" and the hint "Where is this place we can see education and justice, not far away from where we are (Aquatic Park?)" might suggest we have to travel a bit away from such a popular place. Now, I'm not saying that THIS is related to that, but Choice - to bring another theory into this - extend the line going from the pier to the speaker. Look where it leads. imgur.com/a/87hNClxI'd like to say it's a coincidence but........uh.......

Run the test yourself since mine looks so choppy, I'm not good with the software. It's almost a DIRECT hit to you-know-what.
Two points will make a line. Three points will make.....a jewel?
