Hi Jenny - I have a question for you. Did someone submit this question to you and you submitted to Forrest along with other questions, and he chose to answer this one? Yes, this Q was submitted to me (by a new searcher), to which I forwarded the Q to Forrest to answer, for all of us to share in his answer if he chose to do so........ which he did! I never thought to ask you, Jenny! Word for word? You are sure it was a new searcher? They haven't chimed in on the blogs, not that that is proof of anything.

There is a similar quote to this new Featured Q where Forrest mentions a "fresh" mind.
From Cowlazers interview with Forrest:
Q) Why did you say give the poem to a child?
A) A child has a fresh mind. A lot of people overcook the poem. I mean they are looking so far in the future, they are overlooking something that is right in front of them and I believe that’s true. I’ve said get out of the box in your thinking, and then six months later I’ve said get back in the box.

For example if you get a six month visa, it equals to 180 days. Literally, to begin moving in the opposite direction. (If one physically turns 180 degrees, one will then be facing the opposite direction.) So Forrest did a 180 with his box comment. Or six months. It's common knowledge that a six month basis is 180 days. Why? I don't know, but it's a rule. A box is an area like squares on a map. It's an area that longitude and latitude create. Latitude lines run east-west and are parallel to each other. If you go north, latitude values increase. Finally, latitude values (Y-values) range between -90 and +90 degrees (Y - values, Gy psy Magic) But longitude lines run north-south. They converge at the poles. And its X-coordinates are between -180 and +180 degrees. Latitude and longitude coordinates make up our geographic coordinate system. 90 + 90 = 180 Both longitude and latitude hold the number 180.

I like how you speak encompass terms. It appears like this could really hold some waters(or Dr. Peppers). I feel like this Q&A has brought us full circle and truly encapsulates what The Thrill of the Chase:A Memoir is all about. Very refreshing.

Latitude and longitude coordinates make up our geographic coordinate system. 90 x 90 = 180 Both longitude and latitude hold the number 180. I think you meant 90+90=180 but I get what you are saying and I like that interpretation. Is he telling someone to do a 180 and literally look behind them to spot the chest?

"You may even have an advantage..." makes me somewhat nervous. Since we don't know how much time is left, I think I'll go back to the beginning and reassess the intire thing. I fear that maybe I have let my mind stew on all of these old ideas for far too long. n'ice and fricasseed
