Looks like someone may have entered the corner too fast or too soon. Slow down and enjoy the drive.

I'd like to state, the Q/A stand alone- apart from the games the questioner plays. I'm pretty sure we had a question asked by D.B. Cooper once too....and many other questioners trying to be 'cryptic' with the Q's themselves.
But Forrest is merely answering the Featured Question for us to all share in. I think we should respect and appreciate his time.

I think some of the above comments are trying to say they feel like they've been taken for a ride, not by Forrest, but by Martha. We all respect and appreciate Forrest's time and this highlights the reason that we should only focus on his answers. I think it's fair to say that when a questioner has personal motives it just adds to the unnecessary noise. I know I feel like I've been played with when a questioner like Martha inserts her own game into the mix, especially when her reasoning doesn't add up. Really? You needed confirmation that some searchers anagram? Come on. Forrest is absolutely a good sport for answering some of the questions posed to him.

Perhaps we are overlooking the distance from B - C. Put in below B, but above C. I think I'm just forcing everything to fit how I want it to now. It's hard to tell reality from a dream anymore.

. Context is important www.chasingfennstreasure.com/blog/the-clues-are-chronological-after-that-forrest-fennAt the 00:28 mark Forrest says: "It's not in a dangerous place. And it's hard to find... deliberately hard to find. But it certainly isn't impossible. You have to go back to the poem. You have to find out where the first clue is. Where warm waters halt. That's the first clue. And then take it from there. The clues are chronological after that. One leads to another, leads to another, and when you get to the 9th clue, look down because you're where the treasure chest is".

Let the "tomfoolery" commence.

Perhaps to prevent "overcooking" it, you should time it. 1 - 3 minutes ought to be enough, dontcha think?

The timing. As a rule of thumb (for a steak 22mm thick) – cook 2 minutes each side for rare, 3-4 mins each side for medium-rare and 4-6 mins each side for medium. For well done, cook for 2-4 minutes each side, then turn the heat down and cook for another 4-6 minutes. To test for doneness, use the tip of your clean index finger (or tongs) to gently prod the steak. If the steak is soft and squishy, it’s rare. If it’s soft but a bit springy, that’s medium-rare. If it’s springy, that’s medium. Any firmer than that and it’s on its way to well done.

. This is for van and several others,
We already discussed how the words NOT HOT are found in the poem below the words “where warm waters halt”
If you start there as a reference point, and work your way up toward the first verse you will find an anagram of the words TOO HOT (over cooking)
Forrest told Marha that she is overcooking the poem. Continuing upward into the first verse you will find the words MARTHA THE POEM in anagram form. thus, literally, forrest responded to Martha by quoting back to her in anagram form, from his poem. you (Martha) are literally over cooking (too hot) “ the poem “.
Forrest recognized her anagram, and responded in like terms. Gotta watch him, playful and very sharp.

. This is similar to forrests comment about anagramming the poem and tomfoolery. Because Tom foolery is anagrammed in the same location that “the poem” is as mentioned above
