I felt this was paramount for anyone who was so sure about their solution that upon news of it being found, they thought... "I bet it was at my spot!"
So, feel free for all those who now do not need to protect their information... Put down your specific solution, and find out if you were close, or way off
I will start with mine(as I might find was stupid after seeing reveal).....
As I have gone alone in there,
and with my treasures bold
I can keep my secret where,
and hint of treasures new and old
This is a precursor to the 9 clues that isolates the starting location to West Yellowstone, Montana. The thrill of the chase cover shows the 4 states in reflection and upside down of Montana being the treasure location ( many know this from a facebook post) If you open up the book and look at pages 46 and 44... you will find the only locations in the book where pictures of Forrest BOTH alone and with his family (treasures) bold(Pictures stand out). If you look at both of those pages you'll see West Yellowstone typed on both ot the submissions (I can keep my secrets where)
Begin it where warm waters halt, Clue 1- Start at Frost St. It is in the upper northern end of West Yellowstone MT. You have to zoom all the way in on Google maps to see it (Little girl in India cant get closer) Warm air freezes and turns to frost. Air has water in it. You see Frosty on page 49 pointing at Forrest with the pie to "FREEZE!" or "HALT RIGHT THERE!" Frost St. is pronounced "Frost steeee"
and take in in the canyon down. Clue 2- Take it in the canyon down. Cross the street and go down the Madison Addition Walking Path, which resembles and is named after the Madison Canyon.
Not too far but too far to walk, Clue 3- This is both an identifier that you are in the right area, and a distance modifier. Too Far To Walk 242 paces (605 ft) Also the book cover Too Far To Walk identifies your area for you. If you recall, Forrest said in an interview for the book that he had Dal take a picture of a spot on the Madison, then afterwards...he added in the shadow of him with a walking stick. "Madison Addition Walking..."
Put in below the Home of Brown. Clue 4- Approximately 605 feet from the start of the trail going south is Lamar Ave. You put in on the street there. If you have imagination, you'd see that Ranger Danny Brown lived at the Lamar Ranger Station, which is North (above) of the Lamar River (Lamar Ave).
From there its no place for the meek,
The end is ever drawing nigh; There'll be no paddle up your creek
Just heavy loads and water high. Clue 5- No place for the timid would be in an Electric Creek. Go out Lamar Ave to its end and turn LEFT (nigh) upstream on Electric Street (Heavy Loads and High Current) Consequently, I believe these were the two Omegas in the book... They were actually OHMS symbols for Heavy Loads and Water High. I put those two lines together to show that the end is ever drawing nighT, which I'll touch on later
If you've been wise and found the blaze, Clue 6- Somewhere on Electric Street is the blaze. Forrest eluded to it with his horse in TTOTC named Lightning "The blaze on Lightning(electricity)" For the longest time I thought this was the White Driveway at 707 N Electric St. My reasoning?
Reason 1- The Unintended Clue in TFTW: the chapter about River Bathing Forrest said, "If I had money, I could walk a mile to the Union Pacific Railroad Station..." 1 mile by walking the street from the Railroad station puts you in the driveway of 707 N Electric St. This is where I believe Forrest and his family first stayed in West Yellowstone in a one room cabin, that is dear to his heart.
Reason 2- Well Here's Moses Vignette: Moses is displayed in a series of photos Forrest talked about it being too white and it needed dulled to show age. It came out in 2014. So looking in Historical imagery on Google Earth... the drive way at 707 was white and solitary. But in the next time like that was 2015, the neighbor had ALSO made a white driveway and it made 707 E St look "vanilla". I felt that's why he posted this. And if you follow the photos in order... one hand is pointing, the other is fisted like Air Force hand and arm signals.
First Picture- statue (pointing right) posing on tiles of his home with brown showing above the statue (From Below the Home of Brown, go right)
Second picture- close up of Mose's head (Close, up ahead)
Third Picture- Moses is turned around pointing to the left now ( Go Left)
Forth picture- Moses pointing right (as Forrest stated, "now sits on the second step of my home leading to my den") 2nd Home on the right.
This all leads you right to 707 Electric St property
Reason 3- The property hasn't been kept up in years, which made me feel it was just sitting there "waiting for something"
Reason 4- The property used to be listed on Montana Cadastral (property website) as belonging to "Private Banker" in Rancho Sante Fe, CA. Scrapbook 123, spoke about him going to visit his environmentalist friends ranch near Sante Fe (Rancho--Sante Fe), as he approached the south pasture... Front yard south of the driveway, he saw the ranch foreman in top of a pinyon tree with the 2 predatory boars looking up. This is an abrupt misspelling I believe. Boars are not predatory. But BEARS are. If you look EXACTLY 200 feet south of the front yard you will see TWO WOODEN BLACK BEARS attached to a pine tree at another residence below the corner of Lamar St. He said he knew about the 200 feet searcher because he showed him a picture of where he was searching and he knew the location of it. Well that spot where the bears are is EXACTLY 200 feet (which Forrest says is pretty accurate) from the front yard of 707 N. Electric St.
I've done it tired and now I'm weak Clue 7- Clueing in on the roads as the clues to travel by vehicle. He commented on Jenny's site in a Featured Question about the Blaze, "I didn't take a radial off the blaze" (because his car was parked on the driveway and his radial tires were on it)
So hear me all and listen good Clue 8- The chest is hidden by a device that will make a sound to show you its location, but you must wait around to hear it as its on a timer . My feeling is Forrest is once again using covers of books to display hints. Once Upon A While (once per period of time), cover has Forrest fishing for a star at night.
If you are brave and in the wood Clue 9- He hints at being brave, courageous as to being related to night. So I felt you needed to be at the house waiting at night for it to be revealed.
Well there you guys go. This is what I have been focused on for three years. I hope it doesn't seem to delusional
